Why are there no live regular games anymore?
Played on this site a while back and live games used to happen all the time, now I can only get 1v1's live. What happened?

I think it had something to do with the move from playing via desktops to mobiles as the most common way of using the site. Whilst phones are fine for playing long games on the bus, they're bloody useless for playing live games and people got out of the habit.
That was combined with the perpetual problem of the live game clock being out of sync, which made games damned near unworkable for members for what felt like years.
You could also argue that many live games were forum driven, and the forum has changed considerably since the peak of live games.
