Probably, are you saying bussing the strongman should be treated as a given?

No, but there is a difference between bussing and not defending.

Uh sure but I don't know if that is really relevant. I don't know if your specific EOD play would be scum play, but your summary/question of "would I push flash over MF as scum" is a bit silly.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 6:42 amNo, but there is a difference between bussing and not defending.TrPrado wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 6:38 amProbably, are you saying bussing the strongman should be treated as a given?bozotheclown wrote: ↑Wed Sep 16, 2020 10:26 pm
Do you think I would push flash over MF is MF was my scum partner?

Oh, Prado has come to life. That's nice. I do like his train of thought on worcej. I had noticed worcej's play seemed odd earlier.
Macca is withering under kgray's questions. I don't know if a newb or what, but to me kgray's request seems pretty straightforward and I don't understand the constant delay action on Macca's part.
I think bozo has a point and we must assume bussers. No way scum would just let the strongman sink without trying to gain some town cred in the process. Moscow drew pressure very, very early, so I'd look for an early bus rather than a late joiner. Probably before it became apparent that he'd be a main wagon. I have not read the thread yet.....work just...bleh.... but just going off the tracker I would say the busser would be in damo, rdrivera and Vecna. I think kgray, Flum, and especially summit look good for the timing of their moves to Moscow (and for Flum this overrides him hopping off earlier imo)
Flash....I don't know what to think about the self vote. Maybe a goon trying to save a more important scum? Or just a dumb townie? I don't know. From what I had read of the thread (First 40 pages) they hadn't really contributed much of anything.
Yav and Seth shouldn't be cleared, and from what I gather people aren't cutting them slack. Good. If there were scum hopping on last second to gain cred, it's one of them.

This causes me some concern about kgray. She had multiple reasons to scum read MF and said she was OK killing him before MF became a significant wagon, but she kept her vote on foodcoats until about 1 hour left, then with foodcoats losing support she tried to get yavuzovic killed for about half an hour before finally moving to MF when he was down 2 votes to flash.kgray wrote: ↑Wed Sep 16, 2020 2:43 pmI'd also be alright with a Moscow wagon. He's faded away a lot for someone who said it's important for town to constantly communicate their evaluation of the game, he started a bozo wagon for an admittedly non-serious reason but still claims bozo is obvious scum, and I'm the only person who he says he townreads and I'm suspicious that he's buddying me after our early interaction.

It was somewhat misleading to say yavuzovic would have caused a tie, the tie was already there, yavuzovic would have just chosen not to break a tie.
Re: M59 - Duck Season? - Game Thread
Hey Macca, I dont like doing this line of questioning, but can you walk me through how that day of yours looked?
Wake up at 6am, theater rehearsal around 8am, read 31 pages of mafia before 1 pm?
Why such an early rehearsal? Got an important play coming up?

That it took half an hour and rdrivera's questioning to come to this conclusion concerns me as well, especially since you were pursuing this over voting for MF, who you seemed suspicious of all D1.kgray wrote: ↑Wed Sep 16, 2020 9:32 pmI love tie votes as scum. But I guess I'm not sure why he'd change his vote at all if he knew it was tied and wanted to keep it that way. Probably he'd just pretend to miss EOD.
Okay. So maybe ##vote Moscow.

Guess already answered, disregardMacca573 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 2:51 amI'm in our schools top choir, and I'm in charge of the Sound and Lighting crew. However, since I need to put in a vote, so I ask a question to the more experienced people.
I will not be on at EOD, I will be in a stage rehearsal at that time. Is it better to vote for a wagon now, or to put my vote on someone who isn't. Considering it's currently a tie, I would think whatever gives town the greatest ability to quickly shift targets would be best, but which of those options would do so?
Any answer appreciated. I will otherwise default on one of the major wagons.
Not calling complete bullshit yet, but its important to remember that Macca also left votes and wasnt around for EoD during the last mini-mafia game and was never called out on it. Same thing again here.

Is there a meaningful difference if someone is supposedly watching the votes at what they assume is EOD?bozotheclown wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 7:19 amIt was somewhat misleading to say yavuzovic would have caused a tie, the tie was already there, yavuzovic would have just chosen not to break a tie.

A 1 shot strongman really isnt that strong in this setup. Its easily argued to be the least important of their 3 pr's

This is consistent with my concerns of kgray and makes a good case to be concerned of Seth as well. The answer to kgray's second question could be that she decided to commit to the bus.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 2:32 amThe other wagons petered out. It had been quiet and stagnant. You wanted to offer a new chance, and yavu gave you an opening. The wagon you were on (food) was fading away, and you'd sold not damo already. So it's disingenuous to say you and Seth could jump to food. You were both most of the food wagon.kgray wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 2:22 amCan you explain why you think seth and I would have needed to start a totally new counter wagon when we voted for yavuzovic when, as you say, Flash/damo/food were all also options?BunnyGo wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 1:13 am
Our wagons were:
Moscow, bozo, food, Macca
Then a flash wagon started
We got to
flash, Moscow, food, damo.
Why did we need a new counterwagon? Bozo and I certainly started it.
Then yavu showed up as a wagon. THIS seemed like the counter wagon to me. It was done by:
Seth, kgray, and Moscow.
Seth looks awful, kgray looks bad.
And why do you think I, as scum, would abandon the yavuzovic wagon and not only vote for Moscow to put it him second place, but also continue to push for people to move onto him?
Now, the reason Seth comes off looking worse than you is 1) he was sheeping based on your say so and searching for an up and coming wagon and 2) you jumped back to Moscow when it wasn't clear he'd be a wagon. Seth stayed until it was too late to save Moscow and then jumped.
So no, you're not the mostly likely scum, but Seth looks very bad. You just look, shady.

On MF townreading kgray--MF went out of his way to townread kgray--even in his last post 00:37 before being daykilled. This was before he was slated to be killed. But I can't tell if it's because kgray plays a convincing townie or if it's because MF, not knowing he was going to get daykilled, wanted to lend cred to a fellow scum. Any thoughts?bozotheclown wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 7:11 amThis causes me some concern about kgray. Re: M59 - Duck Season? - Game Thread
The difference is in how it sounds when kgray was trying to get yavuzovic killed. At the time in question the vote was a 3 way tie between MF, flash, and foodcoats. There was no scum motivated reason for yavuzovic to change his vote from Macca to me. Saying he "caused a tie" makes it sound like he voted to force a tie and prevent a kill to potentially save a scum teammate.TrPrado wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 7:33 amIs there a meaningful difference if someone is supposedly watching the votes at what they assume is EOD?bozotheclown wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 7:19 amIt was somewhat misleading to say yavuzovic would have caused a tie, the tie was already there, yavuzovic would have just chosen not to break a tie.

Re: M59 - Duck Season? - Game Thread
MF town reading kgray when kgray was scum reading MF would seem somewhat unusual for scum a partners. However, I can see a potential scum motivation, since it appears MF was trying to pocket kgray, so that points to kgray looking more town, which MF would want if he was to flip first. Or, MF could have really been trying to pocket a town kgray, so I think it is WIFOM.hthefourth wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 7:44 amOn MF townreading kgray--MF went out of his way to townread kgray--even in his last post 00:37 before being daykilled. Re: M59 - Duck Season? - Game Thread
I reviewed MF's scum games, and it seems he typically avoids voting for his scum teammates. I could not find any case where he voted for a scum teammate D1. On D1 here he voted for Tom, summit, damo, Macca, and yavuzovic.
