Is the food wagon just for lurking? Do people care to state other opinions?
Re: M59 - Duck Season? - Game Thread
How could someone possibly have an opinion on food that isn’t that he’s lurking?

Is this sarcasm?Hellenic Riot wrote: ↑Mon Sep 14, 2020 10:19 pmImmediately mentioning a mass-claim is certainly one way to ensure it doesn't happen
Bozo asked him. I looked through Tom's ISO and I don't see any other mentions. ?Hellenic Riot wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 7:41 pmOut of interest, how many times are you going to mention how long it's been since you played with MoscowFleet?Tom Bombadil wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 7:11 pmIt’s been a long time since I played with MF. But I remember him both being subbed out occasionally and lurking frequently.
Done rereading HR. That was time consuming.

Are you voting for me for something that happened in a previous game that you were not even in?worcej wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 10:13 pm##vote bozoMoscowFleet wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 7:12 pmAh, bozo. Full disclosure to all, I am totally down to off bozo on principle if people are interested. I don't care if I go next, still worth it.
Let's do this.

Ok...I’m just impressed that’s our only wagon. Hey should we do a bozo special post your top reads list?

And all this time I thought it was because you were commuting your townreads to protect themsummit_fever wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 11:40 pmNot to derail this game too much but you were a real life coin flip from being role-blocked by me after your xorxes vote.kgray wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 11:22 pmI believe you also felt similarly when I was scum and you were townsummit_fever wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 11:19 pm
It's my opinion stated unequivocably as fact. I remember town!kgray asking lots of questions and coming up with conclusions that were often in line with my thoughts.![]()
I've got a town-read on you here so far, but I'm dipping the toes in--I'm not jumping in that pool again.
I also like the foodcoats wagon. I remember foodcoats being quite involved in day 1's...

But fair enough. I’ll just state flat out that I’m pretty confident you’re town and if you’re not then your scum game has improved so much that I won’t be embarrassed at all about being wrong.

It was a short game, and I was diverting the D1 kill from what I knew to be a town kill to someone who at least had the chance to be mafia (from my point of view).worcej wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 10:15 pmWhat was your intention of faking as a PR?bozotheclown wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 7:28 pmI did not "throw" M1014, I tried something that worked out poorly for town which was obviously not my intention.MoscowFleet wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 7:16 pmThe principle that people who throw games are inherently and forever anti-town.

Can you explain your comment about summits scum game and why you think he’s town?kgray wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 11:49 pmAnd all this time I thought it was because you were commuting your townreads to protect themsummit_fever wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 11:40 pmNot to derail this game too much but you were a real life coin flip from being role-blocked by me after your xorxes vote.

Re: M59 - Duck Season? - Game Thread
Sure, you want townreads or scumreads?
Re: M59 - Duck Season? - Game Thread
yeah summit is pretty blatantly town based on just a few posts. Nothing like a good bit of consistency to lock that in, but this appears quite different in terms of courage levels

Bozo? Thoughts? Maybe top 4 Town reads?
Re: M59 - Duck Season? - Game Thread
Summit was my scumbuddy last game and let's just say he struggled.... No offense, summit. But he hardly had any reads and he lurked like crazy. In the scumchat he was really active and he was obviously paying attention to the game but he was afraid to give any thoughts in the main thread. Here, he's actually stating opinions and contributing to discussion. He's seems much more comfortable.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 11:50 pmCan you explain your comment about summits scum game and why you think he’s town?kgray wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 11:49 pmAnd all this time I thought it was because you were commuting your townreads to protect themsummit_fever wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 11:40 pm

yep. im keeping the disclaimer that im not quite at the "certain" point yet, but summit is probably one of the easiest persons to read for me on here.
Hoping thats not going to change.

Re: M59 - Duck Season? - Game Thread
Though I didn't think it plausible at first, Tom might really have been Taz-signaling, and I will be keeping a close eye on his voting record as the game goes on. And the other three have just been throwing large amounts of crap around at various players (perhaps with this I am now joining their ranks, oops). I would prefer a game in which accusations are explained a little more thoroughly instead of kicking up a storm for the hell of it. Also, with all the talk of how bad "lurkers" are, there has got to be some really loudmouth scum out there.kgray wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 10:57 pmWhat does "causing trouble" mean to you? And why did those players catch your attention?hthefourth wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 10:12 pmI'm still rather dizzied by this game--so much text to sift through with only the barest actual commitment to action (i.e. the handful of day votes). Reminds me of spring 1901 of a high roller game. With no real experience of anyone in this chat besides the odd diplomacy game or any voting patterns in this game to go off, I'm approaching it like a hockey ref approaches a scrum--just grab someone who looks like they're causing trouble and punish accordingly (a hockey ref would likely grab one from each team, but roll with me). Tom and Bunny's disagreement has caught my attention, as has summit and bozotheclown. Not nearly enough evidence to make a solid claim that any of these folks are mafia, but enough to votekill, wascally world that we live in.
