Part of my birthday celebrations this weekend was watching 1982's The Thing with my son last night. It occurred to me how great of a set-up it would be. I tried searching the forum to see if it's been done before, but the term was too broad. Has it been attempted before?

That's my all-time favorite movie, so I'd be down to be involved in that. It wouldn't necessarily be mafia, though, but close.

All time favourite? Wow! I'd say it's in my top 50, for sure. My memory of it as a 13 year old, when I first watched it, was pretty different than last night's viewing. I think the levels of distrust and paranoia and determining who is The Thing is right up there with how I understand Mafia to be. It's just a thought I had last night as they're all in the rec room getting blood drawn. "This is a perfect Mafia exercise!"
