I very much enjoy how you're trying to get me to keep focusing on Jamie, but I'm going to take a hard pass on that.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 7:28 pmActually, take that back.

As long as you're leading, you don't need me jumping on.
##Vote Jamie
Your excuses for flipping your vote around are somehow even worse than the way you were doing it in the first place.
Re: M1015 - Super Mafioso Bros
I haven't called anyone stupid and I'm only explicitly calling you suspect for missing it. You, Jamie, are someone who gets very particular about things. You focus on little things that set you off and demand explanations for things you don't understand. I was surprised that you missed Vecna's claim and even more interested in your inability to find it after we talked about it. In particular, I thought: if not the BP claim, what could you possibly have thought Vecna was referring to about the truth being in the chorus? How could you have read that post and not either (1) connected it to the claim or (2) thought it was strange and realized that's the post I was referring to, thereby also realizing it was part of the claim?Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 5:40 pm@Bozo, @Bo:
What do you make of Kgray saying that a clear claim has been made, and calling poeple suspect or stupid for apparently seeing no such posts.?

I have to decipher this a bit. My excuses for flipping are worse than how I did the flipping.Hellenic Riot wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 11:09 pm

Come on HR, I expect better than that from you. Doesn't make sense.
Was that the directive in the scum QT chat? Just keep poking Brian; he'll go nuts!
Re: M1015 - Super Mafioso Bros
I agree with this, I think HB's posts are scummier than his votes. Can you please address why you think his flipping was scummy in the first place? I'm still not really seeing it.Hellenic Riot wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 11:09 pmI very much enjoy how you're trying to get me to keep focusing on Jamie, but I'm going to take a hard pass on that.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 7:28 pmActually, take that back.

I read the assertions that people were making, and after looking at the actions taken by HR, I agree with the conclusion of those assertions.

Ahh, that makes sense.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 4:35 pmHe brought up the possibility of the mafia not attempting a kill, which would be very unlikely, so it seemed to me like he might have been trying to look like he did not know the BP was targeted. I may have misinterpreted his question.

Re: M1015 - No to big wagons?
I've seen a couple posts now mentioning that big wagons are bad. Could someone please explain why this is to me, because it doesn't seem to make obvious sense.

Why would scum care specifically about your movements? Why would scum otherwise be okay with ending in a tie?
Re: M1015 - No to big wagons?
If we just have one run-away wagon where everyone hops on, the flip doesn't tell us as much about player alignments than if it's a closer vote, especially a close vote where people are moving around. Scum can blend into the background easier if most people are voting together.
Re: M1015 - Super Mafioso Bros
Again, why do you think the scumteam's focus is on *you* in particular?Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 11:27 pmI have to decipher this a bit. My excuses for flipping are worse than how I did the flipping.Hellenic Riot wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 11:09 pm

Re: M1015 - Super Mafioso Bros
I think scum would look forward to a majority vote. Anyone moving erratically makes an issue with creating the majority wagon. I think. That's how I am processing it in my brain.bo_sox48 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 11:38 pmSure.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 10:53 pmI'm not sure how I can clarify it any further for you, but I am entirely open to your questions. Scum wouldn't be okay with ending in a tie. That eliminates a Day Kill. Then, assuming no blocks, mafia only drop town by one. That keeps those of us that are town somewhat ahead of the game...I think. I don't have a quick brain for game theory stuff; I really have to plod my way through it to understand it.

I have no earthly idea. HR latched on to it, and they haven't let go. Assume that I am being focused on. Why would they?

It's a vanilla game and you've yet to establish yourself as a good player, so I don't have a clue. That's why I'm asking you why you think they're focusing on your moves and your decisions.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 11:45 pmI have no earthly idea. Re: M1015 - Super Mafioso Bros
And we almost had that really close vote yesterday.
There still has to be something in that VCA that suggests or infers scum.
I think landing on me as the wagon...meh, some suspicion there, but it's 6 to 4.
How many scum do you think may have been on Damo's wagon?
And if scum typically bus other scum through the vote...assuming I am scum, who in that vote pool is mafia?

Because I am NOT a good town player; I'm nascent, and any of my miscues, mishaps, accidents can then be focused on to take heat off of the real scum?

What do you mean?
Jesus, I feel like I am on the defense stand, and all of this digging in to the minutiae of my logic isn't yielding us any hard suspects.

We are in the "assuming" stage because that's all we've got.
I still think the team is Jamie, HR, and one of Macca/Summit/RDR.
