Nevermind, I found it. And the answer is because I didn't see it because of Bo's spamming. I skipped it and just saw your post.

Why didn't you also call out Jamie for questioning Vecna's read of bozo? Why was I picking on Vecna but Jamie wasn't?
Re: M1015 - Super Mafioso Bros
Okay but I brought it up more than once, so are you just not reading what I'm saying? It's pretty disingenuous to scumread me because you don't agree with what I'm saying if you don't actually read it...rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2020 4:49 pmNevermind, I found it. No scumreads, just townreads and non-townreads.

Putting its validity aside this is a towny post.Hellenic Riot wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2020 4:37 pmOn the flip side, this setup actually encourages late coalescing and/or last minute wagons, because if the scum can't react quick enough then their kill might be on someone who they thought was safe but actually got killed by a last second wagon. This only needs to happen once, in combination with our BP being hit, to get us an extra daykill.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2020 4:03 pmIt's EoD in a few hours and we have 7 wagons in an 11 player game.
Come on, people.
So ##unvote.
Guess I'm in the lead now.

Hopefully it's just same ol' Brian. You do seem more assertive but it feels townie to me.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2020 3:24 pmI did suspect I was concussed that night but the doctor didn't seem concerned. Maybe it triggered "asshole" Brian, the Mr. Hyde to my normal, amiable self.
It is an interesting observation HR is making, especially over a short posting timeframe. I didn't feel I was responding/communicating differently.
Anyway, about this vote this afternoon. Would consensus be that we definitely go for the D1 kill and hope like hell it hits mafia?
Is anyone inferring any "team-y" vibes through the conversations?

Getting big M56 vibes.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2020 3:44 pmSummit, why aren't you feeling "good" about Macca?
Macca, Summit has voted for you in what certainly looks like a vanity wagon at this point. Why do you think they don't have a "good" feeling about you?
A lot of his posts are strange, but Macca doesn't want to live because he's town--he wants to live because he doesn't want a 100% day 1 kill streak.Macca573 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 25, 2020 11:10 pmAs a response to a lot of the things leveled at me in the last 3 pages. I don't really know what I'm doing, and I do a lot of things for fun. Sorry I'm acting strangely. Please don't make the the D1 kill again. A 100% streak in that is not something I want to aim for.

Good lord, I glossed right over that. Oh, the difference that makes. If Macca is town, then they want to live because a) they can help town and b) another kill is potentially scum.summit_fever wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2020 5:42 pm

As town, I wouldn't give two cares about streaks.

What can I say? I answered why I think you were picky. I answered now your question when I saw it. I play on phone and I don't much time to re-read, so calling this disingenuous is pretty harsh.kgray wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2020 4:54 pmOkay but I brought it up more than once, so are you just not reading what I'm saying? And I am not scumreading you just because I don't agree with you, you are distorting things. I am scumreading you because I think you were looking small things to seem scum-hunting, writing a big wall reads to look an active townie

Re: M1015 - Super Mafioso Bros
I think that's an interesting point. On the other hand, they gave a pretty decent explanation as to why. It seems they like to compartmentalize early and go from there. That was one wall of text. I'd say they'd be publishing a lot more if they wanted to discourage or confuse town. However, it's early days.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2020 6:03 pmI am scumreading you because I think you were looking small things to seem scum-hunting, writing a big wall reads to look an active townie
I'm not discouraging your vote on kgray. At this point it's as good, and knowledgable, as any other townie vote. If, however, you experience a change of heart, where would you vote go next? Would you put it on one of the wagons currently at the top?
Re: M1015 - Super Mafioso Bros
Or maybe bo started of shite and then started making some more sensible postsbozotheclown wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2020 4:10 pmAnother possibility is that Vecna and bo_sox are scum teammates, since Vecna moved his vote off of bo_sox after bo_sox picked up a third vote and Jamie talked about hammering bo_sox.
Re: M1015 - Super Mafioso Bros
Why would scum not be voting eachother in a setup that completely and utterly rewards proper bussing?bozotheclown wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2020 4:15 pmkgray and rdrivera both have demonstrated a willingness to vote for a scum partner D1, but I think it is unusual for scum to vote for each other D1, so I do not think either is bussing. 1 of the 2 could be scum, but I also think scum is less likely than town to return a vote on a town, so I tend to believe kgray is town here.
The key to catching them here is focusing on unnaturally correct reads

Taking the words out of my mouth.kgray wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2020 4:38 pmUsually rdr and I think pretty similarly - in previous games he's even said I could be his spokesperson. I haven't played with scum!rdr (he was 3p in one game, but still hunting so that doesn't really count) so I think the fact that we're on such different pages is alarming. It might have started out as a misunderstanding, but we cleared that up and I'm still just not seeing where he's coming from. It's fine for him to make jokes, but when only 20% or whatever of his posts are serious and he hasn't said anything I've agreed with, then I'm concerned. Also, he's continually avoiding answering my question and that combined with all the jokes make me think he's trying to hide.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2020 3:49 pmNot sure there would be a change; this is a different set-up so I wasn't sure if there would be a "theoretical" difference. I think if all we have is the usual VCA and the posts, that's all we have.
So you've parked your vote on RDR. Why? Leaving it there? I'm not sure I got anything significantly non-town from them.
Which means nothing for your alignment (since even when he called you the spokesperson you were scum) but at least it does show a worrysome trend for Rdrivera.
Whip out some current reads rivera
