Honestly because I am not used to voting and procrastinate hoping I will find something to positively identify scum. Last turn I really thought I had fox and was feeling better about rdr but I'm not so sure now. TR has also made me feel a little better about him. Worcej and bob are still on my radar but not sure what to think about either of them. Worcej self voting is really throwing me off and bob continuing to talk about yoyo's motivation in his posts as if he doesn't have the same role is also strange. After my iso on bo I felt better about him but tr brings up some good points that I would like to look at. EMC feels town but I forget he is in the game sometimes. You, summit, bozo and obviously damo I townread. HB I also very slightly read as town.

So all considered for now I still don't feel ready to vote haha.

I do not understand the emc votes, I do not see anything about his D2 interaction with Chaqa that makes me suspect emc is mafia.

I'm with you on this one. Emc is a bit of a lurker and not a huge help so far but he seems genuine this game.

Being genuine when you lurk is not a difficult task.

That is a fair point, and out of all of my townreads he is probably the weakest, but I still think he's town from his Chaqa interactions and general vibes. I would consider giving him a second look, but I think there's other much better scum candidates.

Very this. If you're going to push me at least don't ignore my two best posts? I don't care yet how much you tear into them, but don't keep pushing me if you're unwilling to interact with them.

I just noticed I am the biggest wagon now, with brilliant votes from Bob, Fox and Durga.

I think the lynch today should be between Fox and Bob.
I find Durga reaction to Bob posts really weird. He posted two walls of nothing and she treated like the greatest contribution to the game.

Hey! They were my greatest contribution to the game. I gave a case for my scumread and another for a weaker scumread. So what if they were largely based on gut feeling and the absence of useful actions? That's probably where all the scum are hiding this game regardless of your opinion.

Which is awfully convenient isn't it? I'd say that such low-impact players really wouldn't be discussed that much. I also like how you conveniently left out all the mentions of yoyo... And emc is almost as low on mentions, but you ignore him here too. And how are you supposed to draw nice conclusions from this anyway, what does it matter? Start making an actual case on not worcej already. This just seems like a sort of pretending to be helpful thing to me, I don't like it.

as much as I'd like to get those scum. we have some scum to catch here ourselves. And I'd like somebody else to tell me that foxcastle has actually done something useful in this game.

How do you feel when you question him?

+ Unfortunately I can say that about the majority of players remaining in this game.

? I haven't asked many direct questions of fox, though it feels like hitting a brick wall.

Can anyone point me to a game I can read where someone claimed RB? I don't remember if it happened in the Matrix one or not.

It is typical to claim the RB, it used to be common for everyone to claim not being roleblocked when a RB was in play, but that has not been the case recently.

A unique case was M44, it is the only game I remember where mafia (Vecna) claimed their own RB. I also remember cases where the RB was used to specifically maker the player claiming it look suspicious, but I do not remember which games that happened.

I disagree on your characterization of Bob's posts, they made me think Bob is probably town, which I was previously thinking only because of Yoyoyozo. Not that I agree with everything he said.

Why?

I think ghug and chaqa are both careful enough scum players to casually mention their teammates, and Rdr and Bob both fit that description for both of them.

(I didn't say I did a peer-reviewed study. I said I eyeballed it.)

I did something like this as scum once because I knew the results would look most suspicious for town players.

I like TrPrado's case against bo_sox, but I think it is also consistent with bo_sox jumping around among possible mis-kills as mafia.

It amazes me that some people actively contemplate posting limits with respect to themselves.

Where I stand now is that I don't really want to kill Durga or Yoyo. The former seems generally townie and is suspicious of me in a way I noticed she wasn't in the last game as scum and I should have pushed more on. I was buying the "Yoyo seems cagey" thing, but he made that really dumb post attacking Durga last night, and I think rabid stupidity is more of a town Yoyo thing. I still like the bunny kill. Bismarck is fine, I guess, but I honestly have no idea why anyone is voting for him.

Other townreads are foxy and damo. I want to townread Vecna but I'm remembering more and more that he's usually scum when I do that. The rest of you are kinda useless.

It's really funny to me that my joke about the lie detector role got so much more attention than the huge amounts of conversation between durga and ghug. Ghug consistently labels durga as town and durga consistently has the reaction "Oh wow you're scum this time aren't you" I don't think it is likely but I think it is possible they were putting on a huge act for us with the plan that durga would eventually make a huge push to buss ghug for townpoints. Obviously the hypothetical plan would have been ruined by damo hitting with the desperado role. And yes I know she called for investigative powers on him but there was only a 1/3 chance the cop existed, if it was the bloodhound it is possible that ghug wasn't the one carrying out the kills so he could have been clean, maybe a risk they were willing to take? Once again not likely but something we should keep in mind going forward. Durga's her voting analysis is so super clean so it doesn't support this either.

All things considered durga is most likely town. Seems way too risky to pull off but it is something to keep in the back of our minds.

TrPrado's idea of bo_sox having flash as his D2 target is a stretch, because bo_sox did not vote for flash until late, until after Vecna voted for him.
