Re: MAFIA LVIII (58) - WITCHFINDER GENERAL - GAME THREAD
Read my post. I was saying typically TvT Day 1 have lots of singleton voters, but since we didn't have that, I suspect scum was on the block and therefore the normal ones who are singletons (scum) were not.bo_sox48 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 6:15 pmThis does not answer my question in the slightest. Please answer my question.Chaqa wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 2:52 pmMy thinking is, usually Day 1 that involves TvT has a lot of people (typically scum) on one-off wagons or very minor wagons. Day 1 with such a close flip that was town and so many wagons makes me really think there was a scum up on the block, and if that's the case, EMC, Damo, and Yoyo/Bob make the most sense.
So, that said, the Yoyo/Bob wagon probably is fine too, and I'd vote for any of those three, and probably no one else. The only thing going against this theory is the HR kill, which I would expect someone from a wagon that isn't the main one to be killed (to protect my theorized scum in EMC/Damo/YoyoBob), but HR could just be a fearkill type situation.
Furthermore, if day 1 is town v town, why would the second leading wagon be someone you're willing to vote for today?
...
I'm not sure what sort of answer you were expecting. I'm not going to be able to or motivated to re-read most of day 1, so better to just get summaries and work from there. I think, barring scumslips, etc., ignoring most things people say in favor of vote analysis is better anyway.

I did notice a bit of a jump in playstyle when he started playing in the large games as opposed to the mini's. On the surface his play here seems somewhat similair to M57 (he also was a bit more held back there and not really jumping to conclusions and his own deductions as fast as in the mini's).rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 6:19 pmI don't see anything too scummy about HB, but in the last games he was town then he was obviously town at some point and on this game this didn't happen.Vecna wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 6:11 pmthankssummit_fever wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 6:08 pm
You were in both of those minigames, a GM mistake caused the abandonment of M1012 and Brian was town in M1013, M57, M1014.
Im not sure if what were seeing is a continuation of that trend, but as Summit noticed, in that scum game he also did the weird statements that he's been doing a bunch here.

Not sure if COVID reference or calling me ugly. :Dghug wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 6:26 pmWear a maskChaqa wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 6:14 pmI'm online until around 4:15 my time (about 2 hours from now) and then I have to get ready for and leave for a date, so I'll try to keep an eye on things as I wrap up work.
I'm not super crazy about the flash wagon, but Hamilton seems like a reasonable option, though I'd prefer Bob, damo, or EMC.

He voted Bozo and stuck to it. His seth vote seemed sticky to me as well. M1014 Brian seemed to grow more comfortable with throwing his vote around as town.summit_fever wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 6:32 pmYou picked a hell of a career if you don't like perusing previous games on the bot :)

He did one vote there, with 8 hours to go till deadline, and never changed it.

Oh interesting, yeah, I wasn't following the large game so I don't know what he was like there.Vecna wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 6:34 pmI did notice a bit of a jump in playstyle when he started playing in the large games as opposed to the mini's. I didn't ask anyone for advice...and I was following what you yourself had done in the past when you caught up (respond to posts as you read). I waited around for responses...not seeing any I went back to work.Vecna wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 5:30 pmI believe he's randomly just quoting stuff from a stretch of page 60-64, to appear to be participating and being active. There is no coherence, just to show us he is "caught up".
In those few posts he first sheeps Fox, saying he can go along with the meta wagon. Then the next post he asks Worcej for advice. Then the next post he sheeps Worcej's overdefensive attack on me.
He votes. He vanishes. But not before letting us know he is fully caught up.
But go ahead. Quiz him on stuff that happened this game. See if he actually has coherent reads. Prove me wrong if im so wrong, dont just judge the wagon because its "on a lurker". The lowest posters always have scum in them
Apart from me, who are your scumreads?

Do you mean Yoyo/Bob? I don't know, I did a re-read on Yoyo and it wasn't as bad as I remembered. But I still would not mind flipping this slot or HB. And honestly flipping you doesn't seems too bad considering how you are not really paying attention to the game.flash2015 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 6:31 pmIt feels wrong voting for someone that hasn't even appeared at all today. Yoyo/Chaqa is still your top scumread?
Chaqa subbed Sarah if I remember well and didn't do shit yet.
Re: MAFIA LVIII (58) - WITCHFINDER GENERAL - GAME THREAD
You are grasping at straws to justify a wagon which has no reason for existing.

Yeah, it's tainted because he would have been observing a town Jamie while believing Jamie was playing his scum game.
Re: MAFIA LVIII (58) - WITCHFINDER GENERAL - GAME THREAD
He really isn't flash. Why are you just trying to trigger him specifically?
Re: MAFIA LVIII (58) - WITCHFINDER GENERAL - GAME THREAD
I actually thought EMC's post calling you out was pretty pretty good
