Not explicit claims, and it was early during the joke phase, so it probably doesn't mean anything.

Maybe someone in the QT can give you some pointers.Stressedlines wrote: ↑Wed May 09, 2018 11:07 pmI am sorry I am not posting a lot, but I am actually just absorbing the commentary and reading some online stuff in regards to this It is very interesting, and I think I have caught a few of the things I need to be looking for.

Can we all agree now that Snowy MUST be a wagon tomorrow?
He outright stated he had no intention of helping Town or contributing positively to the game.

Do you really think scum would be so blatant about that though?Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed May 09, 2018 11:44 pmCan we all agree now that Snowy MUST be a wagon tomorrow?

He's snowy. He's here to troll.
He should probably get some votes tomorrow though.

Re: MAFIA XXXVI: ODDJOB'S REVENGE
In case cop is new, don't scan Ike. You want people likely to survive a few days whose alignments aren't guaranteed to come out anyway.
Re: MAFIA XXXVI: ODDJOB'S REVENGE
Something mockably, horribly, totally, laughably wrong.
I got a bad vibe about how Ghug has been seemingly following you around. Getting involved in the Ike-you discussion without needing to. Echoing your reeder question without needing to. I could ISO you two and point out others, but several others had commented.
I also got a bad vibe on how hard you were chainsawing Jamie for a vote on Peter that, to me, made at least some sense. I didnt see how you could hard town the slot given the lack of info AND its vote on you. Maybe Jamie's vote was questionable, but you seemed to think it was off the rails in a way I could not understand unless you were (a) pocketing (seemed unlikely) or (b) the vote-park was fake distancing.
Same logic with both you and GHug hardquestioning the reedeer lead, again a nullish slot.
So I concocted a scheme whereby I had solved four mafia on D1 (

Im going to try to save some face by saying (as my posts show) that I was sleepdeprived from an allnighter at work, and way too caught up in the adreneline of end of day. But really, I just got way way to confirmation biased in to a crackpot conspiracy theory.
I do plan on tunnelling you overnight since I think you have by far the richest associational analysis, and I do much better with VCA/Wagon that straight play reads. I will be posting a readslist at falsedawn for precisely the two cents its worth. But for now, I actually plan to F'ing sleep, and hope my face has less egg on it when I wake up.
Re: MAFIA XXXVI: ODDJOB'S REVENGE
Also one helpful fact that came out this afternoon that I didnt realize -- I had no idea scum didnt have daychat today too. Ive only ever been in games when its either on all the time during the day or off all days. Its absence makes it slightly harder to coordinate and should make the VCA a bit more profitable.

I still don´t get how you end lynching Bozo, it come out of the blue. I still think Ike is scum but it will be sorted sooner or later.
Bozo have a great insight when he said noboby cared when he put Peterlund at the lead and that he hit something when he put Ike on the lead (he got 5 votes in a row). I think one or two votes in this sequence might be scum and I suspect Snowy and Demon the most.

No. They either get to chat ALL days (incl. D-1) or NO days (only nights). They do have time to have private chats in all circumstances.

Rip Bozo... don't act so much like scum.
Snowy, any response to Jamiet's having his site on you?

Re: MAFIA XXXVI: ODDJOB'S REVENGE
I ended there because he was in my PoE pool from lurkiness (contrary to meta) and I viewed the join+comment on PeterLund as scummy. To be specific, He joined PeterLund (making it tie Ike) and I immediately joined him (making PeterLund the leading wagon), then he turned around and scummed me within 11 minutes --> I read this as scum coming out of lurk to set up the Lund wagon to be a mislynch and try to make me be the fall guy when it went through.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Thu May 10, 2018 1:10 amI still don´t get how you end lynching Bozo, it come out of the blue. I took from that Lund was a mislynch (why I never went back). (as an aside, while that reason has been removed, Lund's voteswitch on PR claim has separately towned him, as has the toilet bowl around my crackpot theory).
I took from his subsequent comment (not knowing that he was in my lynchpool) that he had not been following the play of the board, which made his already weak reason to vote Lund even weaker. The move to Ike didnt redeem him because (as I said) I viewed that as at the time a mislynch wagon driven by scum. So I voted him as my best scumread - but primarily from the lund vote and comment rather than anything to do with Ike.
I was wrong. Such were the odds.
Re: MAFIA XXXVI: ODDJOB'S REVENGE
The second is the case here as well. They only get to chat at night.
Re: MAFIA XXXVI: ODDJOB'S REVENGE
Ah, then I misinterpreted the afternoon comments about it.
Re: MAFIA XXXVI: ODDJOB'S REVENGE
By the way, as a newb here, I reread this game's rules and had two reactions.
1. I think it would be useful to clarify when Mafia can talk, at least in games with newbs.
2. I now understand why ghug questioned my use of hammer. Where Im from, hammer is the decisive lynch vote that creates the successful plurality/majority. Here it is the one that ends the phase. I will not use the term again.

If you weren't such an experienced player, I would take your not knowing that as a townslip. :)

Wow, this thread is a lot slower than I expected.
While I generally feel we should be wary of townslips, as they can be faked, I don't think his general experience is particularly the concern about that here. Despite his experience elsewhere, my theories regarding new players generally apply to anyone who has not participated in the meta on this site.
