It was pure mayhem. Oddjob sprinted towards the exit among the spattering of gunshots and not-so-witty one-liners. Above him the chandelier exploded as a stray bullet crashed through the glass. He had reached the hallway and fought the urge to look back at the chaos behind him. He now realized how large the mansion was and it gave him hope. A long spiral staircase led upstairs.

Goldfinger, next to him, shouted, “C’mon Oddjob. Up the stairs. We’ll regroup up there.”

Oddjob turned slowly away to face the Bonds in the other room, his hand moved to his head and he removed his bowler hat. He nodded in an over the top dramatic way to Goldfinger, who was frozen on the steps. Goldfinger smiled and rushed upstairs. Once Goldfinger disappeared up the stairs and was out of view, Oddjob rushed into an open door discovering it was a closet. He closed the door and waited.

“No way I’m going to sacrifice myself for that fat bastard,” he thought.

It was dark but he heard commotion outside the door. He sat and waited until it subsided and peeked out. The hall was in shambles, and he ventured to the foyer where the mayhem had begun. It was a stark contrast to the glamorous decor of when they arrived. Throw pillows were torn to shreds, glass coffee tables shattered. His eyes moved from right to left. That is when he saw it. A crumpled body face down. He moved closer, hesitating slightly in anticipation of whom he might see. He flipped the body over and gasped. A gaping hole was in his chest from a drill.


BOZOTHECLOWN has died. He was Elliot Carver A VANILLA TOWN.
