I do not think it is necessary to track them, but at least 5 have participated, and I believe others have indicated they would do it at EON.

OK, finally back home. I feel like a sub, myself, coming into the game. I'll try to make some sense of the back pages leading up to Bunny's death before spending too much time on N1.

Re: MAFIA LVIII (58) - WITCHFINDER GENERAL - GAME THREAD
So in a 5 wagon EOD you think the only one with a chance to have been scum was the person who posted twice? What makes these people town in your eyes? Why couldn’t you have tried building a wagon on anybody else throughout the day?bozotheclown wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 5:49 pmI think damo, Yoyoyozo, and probably even Durga are town.TrPrado wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 8:26 amThere were several wagons at EOD, why is someone with two posts more viable than the several alternatives?bozotheclown wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 7:52 am
What exactly are you accusing us of doing, trying to save BunnyGo, one of the highest posters, to kill a player who had not met the posting requirement and was at risk of getting mod killed? Why would that be scum motivated whether Bismarck was town or scum?
BunnyGo is very good at avoiding votes when he is scum, the way he was playing D1 it was apparent he did not care about getting votes. Bismarck was an unknown, but he was a better choice than BunnyGo, and and far as most of know, Bismarck may have been scum.

While I don’t hold vacation against you (I’m jealous), why is it to town’s benefit that you do nothing? I assert it is to town's benefit that if I can't contribute meaningfully because I can't devote the time to thread-reading, to make a decision to jump on a wagon is not judicious to me. Hence the No Kill voteThe only way that town is going to benefit from your presence in the thread is if you’re actually doing things. Laying low is what the mafia want us all to do because it gives them human shields to hide behind so they can do the same.Yes, you're right. But now I am present being at home.
What didn’t make sense to you on the Bunny wagon? I didn't have the capacity to get all of the reading done. You were ready to consider it. Why were none of Bismarck, damo, Durga, or Yoyo amenable? All of them were options when you chose to vote for nobody.I would not have liked to park my vote on an assumed-safe choice and then have EoD shifting happen that might find the person I parked my vote on executed. With no reads, and with the substitutions likely and not wanting to "policy-kill," the "No Kill" made the most sense to me.
Re: MAFIA LVIII (58) - WITCHFINDER GENERAL - GAME THREAD
Pushing against the Bismarck wagon? Youre stating this as if that alignment is already confirmed.
Another potential slip of the tongue to remember in case that slot turns out to be scum.

I do not have any strong scum reads yet, but I do not like Vecna and HR concentrating on the Bismarck wagon after helping kill BunnyGo. It makes me wonder if they already know Bismarck was town.
My top town reads are damo, Foxcastle, rdrivera, seth, summit, TrPrado, and Yoyoyozo, so I would look for the 5 scum in the remaining 10.

It's a legal term. It´s used when someone didn´t fullfill his duties either because of self interest or to harm someone else. If it´s a public agent it´s a crime.

In case it wasn't clear, Bozo's words I wanted to specifically speak to were bolded. My replies were bolded and italicized.

its still believable enough I guessseth24c wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 4:42 pmI told you why. I thought I had something on bunny because I was rushing to read the first pages in the final moments of the day. Clearly hindsight is 2020 but in the moment I thought I had something and went with my gut. I had put my vote on Bismarck hoping it would cause him to come back and participate and then when it came to the end of the day and he clearly wasn’t going to and I saw that I was potentially going to be the deciding vote I panicked a little and started trying reread to see where the bunny wagon was coming from to see if I had made a mistake. I did think that bunny acted strange at the start of the game as I was reading through and when I saw that he voted Bismarck for no evident reason on page 3 I thought I had something.

Lets just say that whiteknighting a lurker-lynch by saying/agreeing theres another lurker is not exactly the standard of play ive gotten used to from you when youre town.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 4:43 pmVecna wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 2:52 pmRdrivera, Rdriverardrivera2005 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 11, 2020 8:47 pm
That's a good point. Why people were against a policy lynch of Sarah, but happily vote Bismarck?
At least we will need only one sub.
You have not posted a whole lot of spicy posts at all yet this game. Theres been plenty to spice over. This is usually a bad bad sign for you. Combined with your earlier overreaction to me saying im a reverse Rdrivera.....
What you don´t agree about this post? I don´t see any reason to lynch Bismarck that we can expect to improve over Sarah, that was around and I fear would just cast a vote and two more posts and will live another day.
And I can say the same about you Vecna. I usually can easily townread you when you are town, but this game I still don´t get it.
And if you dont think im town, then do something about it. Bring the heat. Show some passion.

spelling errors are funnyrdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 4:54 pmHis vote pattern is scummy only if Bismarck/encmc is also scum. If Bisemc is town there is no reason for a newbies cum to attrack so much attention changinge his vote at that time.
Also, his explanations at night doesn´t look coached, so I would say I put him more on the towny side of my reads.

I forgot to change my phone spell checker/corrector to English. But still half the errors are mine.Vecna wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 7:50 pmspelling errors are funnyrdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 4:54 pmHis vote pattern is scummy only if Bismarck/encmc is also scum. Re: MAFIA LVIII (58) - WITCHFINDER GENERAL - GAME THREAD
I was voting for my preferred kill, Vecna, until 2.5 hours before EOD. BunnyGo was playing as if he did not care if he received votes, damo was pushing the lie detector statement all day, Yoyoyozo was arguing the benefits of the Weak Doctor hypo claims, all things that I felt they would not be doing as scum. Bismarck was an unknown, but his attempt at meeting the minimum participation was at least a little suspicious (he probably did not know the post minimum was 4 instead of 2). When Bismarck voted for damo without explanation, Vecna and Durga had 2 votes and damo had 1 vote, so damo was the one player that he would draw the least attention for voting, not a top wagon but not a new wagon.TrPrado wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 7:33 pmSo in a 5 wagon EOD you think the only one with a chance to have been scum was the person who posted twice? Look.
summit: "It isn't hard to see why Bismarck was a vote."
TrPrado: "Disagree! Those aren't reasons for targetting blah blah"
summit: "..."
You aren't disagreeing with a statement of mine. I believe everybody on the Bismarck wagon had reasonable reasons for being there. You don't agree, and that's where the road ends.
Re: MAFIA LVIII (58) - WITCHFINDER GENERAL - GAME THREAD
I dont remember you asking me anything? And I paid quite some attention to what ive read, so....point me towards the question I guess?bo_sox48 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 5:57 pmI write the same things as scum and town. Thanks for noticing.Vecna wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 2:18 pmNote to self: Bo is the guy that does those huge walls and monologues as scum though. Not quite like Ghug and Chaqa at all (does chaqa do that as well?).
Regardless, these seem like a lot of questions/comments all gummed up in one post, but im not getting that burning desire type of feeling that he's actually caring for the answers.
I do care about the answers. Please answer my question to you. Avoiding questions by dropping a nonchalant dismissal of them in the middle of a string of a dozen posts is a good strategy for getting someone to gloss over it, though. I might have to use that when you ask me something.

Can you explain damo, summit, rdrivera, and Yoyo?bozotheclown wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 7:40 pmI do not have any strong scum reads yet, but I do not like Vecna and HR concentrating on the Bismarck wagon after helping kill BunnyGo. It makes me wonder if they already know Bismarck was town.

I wasn't white knighting Bismarck. I would have voted him over Bunny at EOD if I didn't fear to tie the vote.Vecna wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 7:48 pmLets just say that whiteknighting a lurker-lynch by saying/agreeing theres another lurker is not exactly the standard of play ive gotten used to from you when youre town.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 4:43 pm

I was pointing the inconsistency of not wanting a policy kill of Sarah but voting on Bismarck that was on the same level of lurking.
Re: MAFIA LVIII (58) - WITCHFINDER GENERAL - GAME THREAD
The one directed at you in the post you quoted, claimed I didn't actually care about, and proceeded to obviously not read on the basis that it was too long, Vecna.Vecna wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 2:18 pmNote to self: Bo is the guy that does those huge walls and monologues as scum though. Not quite like Ghug and Chaqa at all (does chaqa do that as well?).bo_sox48 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 11, 2020 5:13 pmStrongly disagree. In addition to what ghug said in a rather vile way, a lot of the time you won’t find scum involved in those conversations at all. They’ll let town yell at each other about mechanics and quietly mull over which of those folks are PRs.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Tue Aug 11, 2020 5:49 amMy guess is that it is more common for scum to claim players talking about "mechanics" are pretending to look useful than it is for scum to pretend to look useful by talking about mechanics.
I see a lot of talk about Yoyo and only two votes on him. What’s the case and why is he grabbing people’s attention without actually grabbing their attention?
Is this an attempt at crowdfunding your PR reads or just a ridiculously horrible question, damo?
I too coach my teammates on day 1.
Please no, we’re not policying anyone for anything. That shit is so old. "Better to look within active players" is also not a valid strategy, though.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Tue Aug 11, 2020 2:44 pmDo pros of policy-killing outweighs cons? If Sarah is VT, sets us up against the wall right away. Better to look within active players and hope for a good catch? I think so.
Lol this is humorously accurate
How is worcej playing too nicely? Why is ghug on your list? Why does worcej warrant a vague explanation while ghug does not?
Will we see you before EOD? I have money to kill on over/unders.
Regardless, these seem like a lot of questions/comments all gummed up in one post, but im not getting that burning desire type of feeling that he's actually caring for the answers.
