That was the "you think you're amazing" part. I think it's way more valuable as a cop.Hellenic Riot wrote: ↑Tue Aug 11, 2020 11:06 pmBecause, if you read the Weak Doctor role, it dies if it visits mafia.
I think it would be best utilised by not visiting until we have some outed PR claims, and then it could be used as a claim-confirmer.

I would WD Fox and Desperado Yoyo (but not this night).
Re: MAFIA LVIII (58) - WITCHFINDER GENERAL - GAME THREAD
Hmmm. I do feel like we're given scum a lot of info with this
Re: MAFIA LVIII (58) - WITCHFINDER GENERAL - GAME THREAD
ye u guys better pick different targets and post em at eon.
Re: MAFIA LVIII (58) - WITCHFINDER GENERAL - GAME THREAD
What can scum do with the info? Confine their NK to someone not listed as a WD target? Is that so bad?
Re: MAFIA LVIII (58) - WITCHFINDER GENERAL - GAME THREAD
It also tells them definitively that people aren't weak doctor, which is useful even if the role isn't in the game.
Re: MAFIA LVIII (58) - WITCHFINDER GENERAL - GAME THREAD
Sorry, I'll rephrase that as "useful even though we don't know for sure if the role is in the game". Just because it's a little more cloudy doesn't mean it isn't bad.

I think lategames with no clears are not worth the trade-off for a single early scum, not least when that scum is confirmed by mechanics and therefore we can't get much reads from their deathghug wrote: ↑Tue Aug 11, 2020 11:10 pmThat was the "you think you're amazing" part. I agree. Which is why we should be using the role that can clear people rather than saving it to save people.Hellenic Riot wrote: ↑Tue Aug 11, 2020 11:51 pmI think lategames with no clears are not worth the trade-off for a single early scum, not least when that scum is confirmed by mechanics and therefore we can't get much reads from their deathghug wrote: ↑Tue Aug 11, 2020 11:10 pmThat was the "you think you're amazing" part. When we (possibly) have a 3P that wins when all PR's are dead, sacrificing a PR for some pseudo-clear VT's ain't a great tradeghug wrote: ↑Tue Aug 11, 2020 11:54 pmI agree. What exactly was the Bismarck wagon? It was basically a constant thing the entire day but on the rare occasion it took the lead it was quickly replaced by someone else.
Of particular interest, seth dropped his first vote on the Bismarck wagon, giving it a lead, then leaves it, then gets on Bunny with a tie vote and a chance to basically decide the lynch...

Which came after saying he didn't understand the Bunny wagon and preferred Bismarck.
Re: MAFIA LVIII (58) - WITCHFINDER GENERAL - GAME THREAD
Seth, why did you vote Bismarck first and why did you vote Bunny at the deadline?

You think a new player opened the game with a bus?bo_sox48 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 12:51 amWhat exactly was the Bismarck wagon? It was basically a constant thing the entire day but on the rare occasion it took the lead it was quickly replaced by someone else.

Seth has been around the site since when I joined, I don’t think this is his first game here is it?
Either way, I don’t know. I’m asking him for some clarity.

I realize this was a really suspicious and stupid thing to do and looks really bad for me. But this was me being overwhelmed in the end of the phase when I realized I was likely to be the deciding vote.. This was not me being scum, I just didn't know what to do and several people had been making a huge deal about the Bismarck wagon being for no reason so I second guessed myself. I still don't think I probably should have ever voted Bismarck either..bo_sox48 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 12:51 amWhat exactly was the Bismarck wagon?
