Can't you just as easily spin it as bozo calling attention to what could be his partner's townslip and trying to create distance. Outed scum is where WIFOM becomes truly WIFOM.

Did he suspect that he had been outed as doc? I re-read RDR's D1 and N1 posts and I think conversation around Doc came up only once. I don't remember the context, but I also didn't read it as, "Hey, read what I am writing and INFER I am the doc,"
