Also, it's a topic of conversation because if HB wasn't lying about Fox not telling him Jamiet was his partner then it WAS a townslip. Now it's probably that he...forgot? I don't know frankly. :/ I don't understand how someone's memory could be this bad but also why would he pretend to not know this as scum
Relatively insignificant component in the grand scheme of life. Over 50. Self-diagnosed ADD which I sprang on my wife when she returned from her 3 week sojourn to Japan to visit out daughter and I exclaimed, "I think I need meds!" That's how someone's memory could be bad regarding PMs.

It's a fuck-up. If I were on the other side of it, I wouldn't let it stop me from digging into other players.

Yeah. well honestly this is the second time I've seen this and the first time you were town so I think it's NAI - I am glad you are playing with us though, I don't mean to give you a hard time about it.

In broad strokes, most of the last 6 or so pages of conversation has revolved solely around HB. I don't like that.

##Vote damo - only one who posted in that timeframe who didn't weigh in on the HB case. Potential distancing?

Well HB said something worth looking into. You don't like that because it's HB?

Also, I practically forgot damo was in this game

Maybe my recent game is clouding my judgement on this one. But scum team absolutely used him for cover with pretty good effect. My suggestion is either to immediately quarantine him and either A) Kill today or B) Cop scan tonight. Otherwise I have a feeling scum will make HB a counter-wagon every single day.

Eh, no one's really scum reading HB so I'm not sure what the worry is

Was that a thing? I didn’t get a sense of that reading the Mafia QT once the game was done. Doesn’t matter other than for my own curiosity.

If I’m that much of a liability then the wagon will form and scum will jump on it. It’ll be hard to get a solid read from it unless there’s a good way to detect scum from VCA by flipping town on Day 1.

My reads so far:
Ghug town because I love him
Durga scum. I don’t like the way she started off the game but have no problems with her play thereafter but I’ll give it a bit more time until I’m convinced otherwise.
Gold town. I was impressed with his play last game and I take it he’s rarely town and that’s why he seems to lack focus and like, overall qualities of a good player
Moscow town. I like the way he’s played so far. Nothing seems super shady about him and he’s actually contributed the most to the conversation that I’ve seen.
Hamilton idk. I tend to overestimate people’s cunningness and I find it really hard to believe he’s just fumbling around in this game after previously playing at least two full games that I’m hearing.
Has rdrivera damos or bozo done anything yet? I know I’ve seen posts from them but like, they haven’t done anything substantial. How do you guys feel about these 3. I support offing a lurker the first day to keep things fresh and active especially considering the lack of information we have right now.

I disagree with all 3 of these characterizations, but assuming you think they are true, do you remember me doing these things as scum?

I do not like the fishing for scum reads on me, rdrivera, and damo. It is easy to read our posts and determine if you think we have "done anything substantial". If you did, you would see that I asked you a question that you never answered.

Nope. So I was just as surprised as anyone else. I was posting in that QT...crickets. Then Fox scrambled, let Jamie know, then we had some conversations. We agreed to kill Bo since he was zeroing in on me. Then, game was reset.
Because I'm curious, can you find Fox's PM and post it here?
After I went back through, I think you're right. I don't have the original PM but I have this one from Fox:
You are only allowed to communicate during the Night Phase (which will begin on Friday at 6:00 PM ET, after a player is voted out at the end of the Day Phase). At that point, you and Jamiet can communicate in the QuickTopic link provided in your Role PM. You can only communicate during the Night Phase, though, the QuickTopic thread is closed during the day phase.

Let me know if you have any other questions!
So Fox must have included Jamie in the original PM to me. Again, my memory...short on the details. This PM was just me trying to clarify when I could communicate with them.

Shit! I do this as town and it comes back to bite me in the ass or get me killed. I guess the lesson is have my facts straight before I put something in print.
I do not know if I buy this explanation, you played the entire D1 of that game knowing the identity of your scum partner.

Brian, do you think a push on you for this knowing scum partners thing is more likely to be town-motivated or scum-motivated?

I don't think Yoyo reads were that bad, in fact it's the first towny thing I sense from him. Why scum Yoyo would post a readlist on middle of D1 exactly when the pressure on him have vanished?

The HB 'slip' is presumably either lazytown or scumfakery. The latter would need a lot of bottle. I continue to townread HB.

My opinion on others also remain unchanged.

Basically willing to day kill gold or yoyo.

It's mostly coming from Durga, right. Context of last game played with them was not made the same mistake, and they hammered me incessantly over it, question after question. They were town.

I'll say it's town motivated again.

i need to take responsibility for this part of my play. It's bad play and I'll forever be bad town if it continues to factor in my game.

On Day one, it's not the worst way to fill pages but subsequently when we're beyond the first kill and we need to be actively hunting, then I would say it's scum motivated...in my opinion.

@yoyo...rdr makes an interesting point regarding your timing. Why did you feel it was appropriate to post your reads when you did?
