I'm also uncertain on ghug. Despite plenty of posting, not too much that's really noteworthy. I think his interaction with durga was a bit awkward. I also dislike how he asked yoyo who was townreading durga for asking about rb, yoyo ignored him, and then ghug never followed up. I did however get a positive vibe from his convo about using the last will. I'm curious to see more of him tomorrow.

That's all from me currently - not the explosive first day I was kind of expecting, but I guess it makes sense with only 9 people and no brainbomb. See you all tomorrow. :nmr:
I didn’t ignore his question, ghug was the one townreading Durga and I made fun of him for it after he asked who.

Not too sure what to make of gold. At first I thought his vote on yoyo was a joke vote, but apparently not as he's backing it up?

For what it's worth, I vaguely think I recall yoyo being generally lurky, but I don't think increased activity in and of itself can be read into too much. I remember I got scumread/townread all the time for my increase or decrease in frequency of posting when 99% of the time it had everything to do with IRL availability and nothing to do with alignment.
You guys should check out my eariler games when I wasn’t burnt out. I was super active and helpful. I would make google doc with the pages of the forum collated so it’s easier to Ctrl+F stuff. I’m playing on my phone so that’s much harder to do now

I also frequently rolled PR or scum in my later games and tbh to this day have no idea how not to fuck it up because I tend to text very stream of consciousness so I would lay lower due to that as well. I think gold is right that I’m excited, but only because I’m playing after so long and it’s got that refreshing feel, and I don’t have to deal with Jamiet or any of the other annoying players.

ghug don't take my place.

I feel very comfortable with ##Vote yoyo

My reasoning? He's posting like I do. Like, I'm seeing his posts and going "yeah, I'd say that"

Except I'm always scum, and only know to play the game as such. Ergo, yoyo is scum.
Is this like a vibe thing, or are there actual things about yoyo that you find scummy?

It's very much a vibe thing. I didn't like his reactions to my vote, and he's playing off-meta from the yoyo I know.

But he's at least self-aware about it apparently. I don't think I'll gain much more insights from pushing this further.

##vote bozo for making my eyes bleed.

As for my Durga read, scum love to get some easy town cover by going over mechanics of the setup. I do it every game, and it usually works (ghug caught it last game tho).

Add that to a little light bussing to start the day off by scum!yoyo, and that caught my attention.
This seems plausible to me. Not too sure about yoyo, but so far not the biggest durga fan. 17 posts and the only substance is townreading HB:

Because they'd clearly know who I was if they were scum, and they're just pushing 50/50 odds. I won't say this won't come back to bite me in the arse later on, but I am less inclined to want to wagon Ghug than someone else...like Bozo or Damo.
Yknow, it's a terrible way to look at ghug's comment, but I'm leaning town with this thinking - HB can easily play the "I'm random" card since that's his meta but he's actually doing a pretty good job at explaining his logic
Here, HB gets the townread from durga for explaining his logic. But it's not like he volunteered to - he only did so when prodded by yoyo. Also, the 'logic' itself is not the best, and in fact pretty suspect. Like, the only alternative for ghug to putting the odds at 50/50 is scumslipping. How do you townread someone from that? I don't see how scum ghug or town ghug is more or less likely to say the 50/50 quote.

I have very bad mafia memories of being stuck for literal weeks in town vs town tunnels (I think damo may actually have been one of them iirc), so I'm going to make an effort this game to not get hung up on anything. But I will scumlean on durga for now.
Literally tell me why scum would come up with something like that to *town* read ghug? I never said HB's logic was good, his explanation just struck me as genuine. You can disagree but it's not scummy

Not sure I understand bozo's first three posts, but the other two were pointless questions that feel like fake!engagement.

I don't think yoyo's level of engagement is a scum tell. It's been a while since he's played so it could go either way. He is being pretty defensive, which is another story. Need to see more though

This "particular" game? Or just mafia in general? Oh, and as an introduction, we haven't met in the mafia games. I'm new to the game. I Piss off the vets. Ask some questions...probably too many then I get chastised to go find out the answers myself. I Easily get "pocketed," but I'd like to think I'm a bit wiser to that than I was before.

So if you know what everyone is going to say...I can infer you've got reads on everyone that's posted so far?
Yoyoyozo was a replacement in M57, where your survived until the end, so it is not accurate to say you have not met him in mafia games.

Do you know MoscowFleet?
Have you ever caught a scum with this kind of thing?
yes

Damn it, you're right! Can't believe how quickly I forgot.

MoscowFleet, I think I've only played Dip with them.
If you have not played mafia with MoscowFleet either, why did you respond to him without the kind of introduction you gave to Yoyoyozo?

You do not see any point in questioning a statement that is not accurate?

Are we 12? Is the use of colours meant to indicate you're a human being with personalities and not actually a bot?

Didn't think to do it until responding to Yoyo. By that point I felt it would have been rude to backtrack.

I scumread everyone who spells color with a u, as we previously established that HR is scum, and he does that.
