Ok so the cop is practically worthless and I can't figure out if mafia have a roleblock

Why can't you figure out if there's a roleblock? The setup is pretty straightforward. Seems like an odd comment.

So we give our plans for what we wanted to ideally do if we had lived, and it'll make it easier to separate a dead mafia goon from a dead miller? Where does flipping around on the fly come into play? Not too sure I follow.

Basically I'm advocating that we put ourselves on the record with regards to our actions rather than try to give last reads that are uninformed and may or may not be a day old when they come out.

That kind of makes sense I guess. So if we [redacted] someone and they flip goon, their last will should be their ideas from a day ago, which we can compare to how they actually played on the last day and whether their play progressed organically or not, which can help us determine whether or not they were miller or mafia. I mean it seems a bit mitigated by us talking about it, as the real goon can take some care during the night to try to line up his will with what he'll actually do. And if it's clear he's not on the chopping block then it becomes irrelevant. But I suppose it could help somewhat restrict their actions and flexibility.

I think talking about it forces them to decide how hard they're willing to constrain their play to what they've said. Another thing they have to work on doing to hide.

Cop isn't worthless if he uses the last will (or live long). If you got an inno scan on someone and GF is lynched you got a clear and even if it's not the case it could improve our chances if it got to lylo.

A lot of what ifs but sure. At the very least we probably get a clear if they claim.
