Hi everyone. Sorry for my absence. To explain, today is my father's 60th birthday. I spent pretty much every hour yesterday working or traveling. Since EOD is right around dinnertime, I very likely won't be online. I should be around sporadically the next few hours

For now, I'll vote with my top townreads and ##vote Temasek while I catch up

Sorry, I missed basically the entire night phase and last night. I'm just not really online in the evenings anymore since I started telework, and have had some work projects that are taking up my days.

I don't think EMC is scum, and I don't know why people are still trying to policy flip him when Temasek is being out-posted by half a dozen dead players. Macca looked like newbie scum on D1 before bailed, and I think it's likely that Tem is trying to lurk his way past that.

##VOTE TEM
How did Macca look like newbie scum?
http://mafia.peterlund.se/e/web/msgs?g= ... 73&part=d1

It's just four posts, but it looks to me like he's— ... it's dumb to say "trying too hard to be engaged and likable" as scum indicator, but that's what it is, I guess. He says he played a game previously but I don't think it was one I was in, so maybe he's like that and someone from that game can make that point. It looks artificial and scummy to me.

But the other half of the equation is Tem, who's not even coasting, just straight up lurking and barely participating. It doesn't look like Tem is big poster either way he was in the lower half of posters but not all the way at the bottom as town in M51 and as scum in M52. Is he doing it because he knows that Macca's posts could be a big problem for him if he gets attention?

Wow, this game is quiet. Either scum are comfortable with the wagons or are waiting to get a last minute speed wagoning.

I don't like this Tem wagon, not because I town read her, but because it looks a lot like a coin flip.

Between scum Temasek and town Temasek. Reading all his 17 posts was a quick task and gave almost no clue about his alignment.

Also eff it.

I’m back to ##vote Bismarck

Since when does a wagon dissipate like his and him face no heat the next day. He has laid low all night and day. I bet letting scummates push wagons so he can fly under the radar after taking some heat.
What do you think of the idea that Bismarck has been coached overnight and into the day?

There is scum day chat so I hadn’t even considered that as I don’t think it’s relevant.

Regardless I’d like to make things move a bit and sitting on rdrivera to try and make him a wagon when there is no traction otherwise isn’t really working so I’m interested in Bismarck as well.

Wow, a two hour drive through no service and...I didn't miss anything.

Quickly, while I do have time. I think the emc and Bismarck wagons are bad ones.

Bismarck's reaction to his wagon D3 felt extremely towny and genuine. I don't think he is a good wagon for today after that.

Emc, while having wagons blow up and disappear on him twice, should not be voted for that reason. His D1 wagon is full of confirmed town and my town reads. The lead off his wagon D3 was led by confirmed town. Rdrivera, who immediately followed, is less clear. Therefore for reasons less because of emc's actions and more because of his wagons, I don't think he's a good target today.

HR seems a fair target. I asked for a case on him yesterday, because I hadn't really been able to sus anything out other than "he feels off". Please let me know why I should change my vote to him, someone. Someone other than rdrivera, because my inclination is currently the two might be scum bussing each other. HR just did it more convincingly, because my scum vibes are mainly coming from rdr. I just haven't had enough time to read into this to trust my gut over Bunny's.

HB and therul are both acting very newb, but in very different ways. Something to look into more.

Top Townreads:

Tom Bombadil
Hamilton Brian
therul
Bunny

Probably ghug as well - I see little to no reason why he would have made any attempt to save me whatsoever yesterday were he scum, nor do I see any reason why he'd openly doubt Nanook's RB claim - because even in the scenario where he's scum and knew Nanook was faking, he would not be the one to point that out. And if Nanook's not faking, why on earth start a discussion over it?

If rdrivera is not an option today then a Temasek/Bismarck cross would not be a bad scenario, as I could certainly see both being scum here. Obviously nothing to go on when it comes to Tem, but given how poorly all our daykills have gone so far there's almost certainly one or two scum just coasting by, with Tem being prime candidate.

Bismarck's open antagonism D3 is harder to classify, but the only time he's really come alive all game was to defend himself there and as soon as the pressure left he's gone back to doing bugger all. As for emc, it's certainly getting to the point where PoE scumreads on him are reasonable; but I do not accept that that was the case yesterday, and so I have some residual opposition to voting him from that.

I have a meeting one hour before deadline, will likely not be done in time for EOD.

I think emc and HR are both town.

Bismarck is a good wagon. I think Fox is a good wagon (my only hesitation is ghug being the one pushing it). I think rdr is a good wagon - though his sarcasm and frustration seems genuine, which gives me pause.

Yes it’s way too quiet because the last three days of flash wagons have gone so so well, we just HAVE to keep doing it

I think both the HR/tem wagons are solid choices tbh. I don’t think Bismarck or EMC are that scummy tbh, so pretty much happy to see what happens with these two 🤷‍♀️

Shockingly I will also not be around for this deadline, would be pretty cool if we didn’t do another last minute shift onto town tbh
