Then I'm wrong?bo_sox48 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 14, 2020 2:45 amWhat if angry jaded rdrivera is theater and he's scum?Tom Bombadil wrote: ↑Tue Jul 14, 2020 2:44 amAnd if rivera is town, it sure seems like ghug could be scum testing the waters to see how plausible it is to line rdrivera up as a wagon. It could be a wagon to get some momentum, so it would be a logical choice for scum to pick
If you are asking specifically how it relates to ghug, then I would say ghug seems towny. But as I said, that seemed pretty organic bitterness from rdr
Re: Mafia 57 Matrix
Time zone suspicions. But also I find they use the same language differently.
Re: Mafia 57 Matrix
Being super angry and doing nothing with it never seems genuine to me but you do you man

Re: Mafia 57 Matrix
Being "super angry" and jaded are two different things, and I think you are misconstruing me when you decided to change my words.
This quote is not "super angry"
"So, do you think scum are stupid and that's why we have seven dead townies until now. Brilliant logic."
Its sarcastic and frustrated in a way that feels natural for rdrivera. I would have been suspicious if he was actually super angry and said something like "you are such an idiot, we are losing this game and its your fault for being dense."

What's not to understand? There's a lot of how Nanook has come across in this game and I'm not crazy about it. There's also the laugh about him getting a post in at night when there was SO MUCH air time given to his not justifying sufficiently why he wouldn't post at night, and some contradictions in his rationale posts.bo_sox48 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 14, 2020 2:44 amWhat... what is this?Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Tue Jul 14, 2020 2:43 amI don't like a lot of your style, but there might be something to it. You're definitely not in my top 3 scumreads, but you're not totally town yet, either.
BTW, that list I made last night...crumple that sucker up and throw it in the fire. It's out-of-date.
But, when they posted that they might be reacting in such a heavy way toward certain posters and that it was their reflection that indicated how they felt about them (scum/town), there's something to it.
Again, I am wholly mystified.

Idk if it’s just me but I do not understand at all what you’re trying to say there
Like not even a little bit

Re: Mafia 57 Matrix
You said angry and jaded, I said super angry and jaded. Super is my word, and I only used it after closely paraphrasing you once before. You need to loosen up a bit if you think I’m trying to spend multiple posts building up to misquote you as opposed to offering my own take on things.Tom Bombadil wrote: ↑Tue Jul 14, 2020 2:55 amBeing "super angry" and jaded are two different things, and I think you are misconstruing me when you decided to change my words.

To stick to the point, if you read his interactions with HR and quantify that against what at least I am accustomed to seeing out of quiet, cool rdrivera is’s super angry. It’s cool if we agree to disagree. It doesn’t feel natural to me and I think you’re wrong. That’s all I’m saying.

Re: Mafia 57 Matrix
Maybe get me when I'm sober. I have a hell of a time expressing myself at the best of times. I'll try again in the morning.
However, like a constant drum: EMC=Gold=Bunny. Hit those three, the other 2 will follow.
Now I sound like the guy who screamed out of the window in Network. Probably an outdated reference for you young ones.

Why did you choose to quote the post you did in order to express your wholly mystified-ness?Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Tue Jul 14, 2020 2:55 amWhat's not to understand? I am kinda sketched out by how absent he's been. Hopefully he'll undo that in the next few (real) days.

Re: Mafia 57 Matrix
My god I don't know why it took me so long to realize, but Nanooks "naked" votes are finance references. When you cover your position, you hedge it. He's saying it's an un-hedged vote.
Jesus I'm embarrassed it took me that long.
As for Hamilton's bizarre theory of a Bunny-emc-gold scumteam, please look at the actual context of the vote wagons and you'll see how much of a non-starter that is. And for TheFlyingBoat? Yeah he was a scumread of mine. I had a theory on scum lurking in lone wagons - which was true in most of my past games. Turns out it wasn't this time, that's on me.

That might be the origin, idk, the guy I picked it up from has a history in finance I think
AFAIK it just means “a vote without a case/justification attached at the time of vote.”
Re: Mafia 57 Matrix
@bo you asked me re rdr and HR
I think there could very well be theatre at play and they both are scum. I doubt they are both town.
Jamie's absence unusual. Maybe he has an excuse but we should monitor.

Can you point me to the question? Or at least the page? Or I will answer only in the afternoon as am a bit busy this morning to go search.bo_sox48 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 14, 2020 2:43 amThanks for answering literally everything ghug asked you and some things he didn't ask you. Re: Mafia 57 Matrix
You are right, I am not angry, I am frustrated. I tried my best to look obvtown yesterday when I had more town to play and people still call me scummy. I am still unable to push my reads as people only take seriously "slips" or big walls with a lot of words and quotes, which I can't do as I play almost 100% on my phone.Tom Bombadil wrote: ↑Tue Jul 14, 2020 2:55 amBeing "super angry" and jaded are two different things, and I think you are misconstruing me when you decided to change my words.
