I apologise for my absence for close to 48 hours. My wife and I went away for one night (in lieu of our "postponed" 3-week wildlife smorgasbord in Africa that was meant to start on 28 June) and I have just returned to the computer. I promise to read as much as possible, and offer my thoughts on the proposed Day 3 cull.

I remember you being a good town player who often led town - right now you are just joking around with everyone.

Also I feel pretty strongly that HR is town, so let’s not vote him.

Why?

1) his interaction regarding the possibility of damo being scum seemed sincere.
2) I think he has been willing to say what he is thinking in the moment.
3) he correctly townreads me for very similar reasons as the other time we played. I don’t think he would be pocketing me as he apparently doesn’t remember playing with me. We were both town. I lasted deep into the game and while he scumreads were shit, HR said I played well because I was really easy to townread - and a similar instance is happening here.

This is one of Tom's posts that rang my scum bell. Here, his explanation for "strongly" thinking HR is a Townie doesn't explain that conclusion at all! (1) HIS opinion that HR was sincere (hardly objective); (2) HIS opinion about what HR is willing to say (and in particular, HIGH SINCERITY) when writing something in the thread (again, hardly objective). In fact, no evidence whatever.

Since it seems that EMC has a decent chance of getting mod killed I'll hold off on voting for him and instead vote for the other of my two highest scum reads: BunnyGo

I'll try to time my lunch break to be on close to EOD but I can't make any guarantees that I don't get pulled into a last minute Teams meeting or something of that sort.

If I had to offer my best guess of a scum team my money is on:

BunnyGo, EMC, HR, Tom, and one of RDR/Bis (though if I had to pick I'd go RDR)

The first three are largely based on voting behavior Day 1, Tom is mostly based on his weird defense of HR, and RDR/Bis is also based on voting behavior. The first two I feel pretty confident in. HR I feel somewhat confident. After that I have low degrees of confidence in my read.

Still digging, but the Hellenic does not equal Nanook, based on Foxcastle's opinion of their exchange does suggest one of the two are dirty.

Right, but they haven't sat back. They've belittled, been insulting, etc. Hasn't gotten us closer to nailing one scum yet. Neither have I but I've tried to be engaged, humble, realize I'm in a big learning curve.

So many repetitive arguments and circle-jerking here today and hardly anything new. We have 4 people who haven't voted yet. emc is 18 hours away from being mod-killed. Therul has only posted twice, and unconvincingly at that. Temasek has made about 10 damn posts the whole game. Damo, for being the closet thing to a town clear that we have, hasn't done shit all today as far as making a coherent case.

Why not put some pressure on them, while there's still time?

@gold apart the fact that (as should be obvious) I know the roles of 2 other players I am very much in the dark with no strong reads. My only advice is, as previously said, concentrate on d1 Flash voters. Or if you townread them all (I don't) then look at mine.
