Will try to start reading now, but I have a meeting in half an hour.

Also it's chic
Also HB and therul seem skittish.
Are you telling everyone that's your strong scumread?
This reaction is skittish. Newbies tend to be skittish, so since I learned of your experience I've been more lenient in my mind towards you. But scum newbies are *especially* skittish...which tends to be why newbies get lynched early.

And EMC has been napping for 22 hours... Having done this a couple of times I find those who are new to a group do tend to get picked on early.
It is true no mater if they are town or mafia. It is the fact that the town do not know enough of the new player to be able to figure out how they are playing, and the new player is still trying to figure out the experienced players.
I have tried to lay enough of myself out in front to show who and what I am, so I do not get lynched Day 1.

Re: Mafia 57 Matrix
Like a spectrum, ghug. I shouldn't have to re-hash the number of D1 newb lynches there have been because they were acting fishy and people mistook it for scum. However that same pressure usually gets the newb scum to scumslip. My first ever game of mafia I was scum and only got through D1 because my teammates convinced everyone I was "too scummy to be scum". So put them under the microscope, watch them shake, and then judge as best you can if it's normal newb behavior. This creates different judgement criteria for new players than old farts like yourself, but it's the right way to do things.ghug wrote: ↑Tue Jul 07, 2020 9:00 pmHow does that follow?goldfinger0303 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 07, 2020 8:52 pmHamilton Brian wrote: ↑Tue Jul 07, 2020 8:34 pm

Re: Mafia 57 Matrix
His existence in the game is anti-town. It is a pro-town move to remove him.
Yes there is less information. I'll state all my other preferences, people can read.
People should say whom else they'd be voting for if not emc. This provides the same content you're seeking later (just not as easily searchable in the bot)
Re: Mafia 57 Matrix
After all that ghug/gold noise, if they're BOTH scum I tip my hat. No idea if they're both town, but I have a hard time believing two scum would have the balls to pull that off.
Re: Mafia 57 Matrix
dargo wasn't even the lowest poster here...(ignoring the fact he's GMing). This is weird on many levels.
You seem to be anxious to vote, but not speak. Can we try a little more of allowing us to see into your brain? We are in the matrix after all.
Re: Mafia 57 Matrix
Remember the mafia can day chat. This is pretty tame.
Re: Mafia 57 Matrix
ninja'd!
Again will be impressed if both rdr and flash are scum.

Ugh, never mind. I need a nap.

Just got to this post....Tom Bombadil wrote: ↑Tue Jul 07, 2020 5:56 pmtherul is probs town.
With scum daychat available I don’t think a scumbo who is newish(?) would accidentally vote the GM.
I've found in my recent games as scum that the newbies tend to try and overcompensate, and the experienced players advise "just be yourself and hunt." Not sure that they can really protect therul from himself.
Re: Mafia 57 Matrix
Bo_sox, Summit, EMC, worcej, Macca... have either not shown, or disappeared after they initially showed up.
Re: Mafia 57 Matrix
For argument's sake, how much would teammates be able to say? "Hey! Don't draw attention. Just try to scum hunt like you were town." Would they really be editing and approving EVERY post?Tom Bombadil wrote: ↑Tue Jul 07, 2020 6:50 pmIf teammates told him to be dumb, I don’t think he would have corrected himself so quickly. He would have let someone else correct him to play it off more visibly. This seems like an honest mistake. A mistake scum could make too, but if I were a new player with scum daychat I’d be running almost all of my thoughts and posts through that daychat before posting here.So I’m inclined to think he is town.
Re: Mafia 57 Matrix
Macca was the scummiest/noobiest of the ones who showed up at all. EMC is the emc-est of them.

Re: Mafia 57 Matrix
No. I wouldn't expect every post. But with daychat available, I would expect scum to discuss posts where they were actually casting a voteBunnyGo wrote: ↑Tue Jul 07, 2020 9:49 pmFor argument's sake, how much would teammates be able to say?
