mafia is a game where everyone guesses but pretends it based on hard evidence. normally the guesses are wrong and everyone argues about how bad everyone else is. Hope that helps.

Mafia is a game of deduction based on questioning people, where the Minority have all the information and the Majority have to work out who they are.

a) Mafia games are NOT another form of diplomacy, or a variant, or a board game. Although I suspect that there is a correlation between Mafia and Dip skills.
b) Mafia (in here) is a guessing game, where players are assigned roles, and players inductively (and sometimes deductively) try to guess who has what roles. Some players have more information than others. Players vote, and then the role is revealed.
c) Mafia is a game that is 7 times more fun if Maniac is playing.
d) There is a page to look at, but I am too lazy to find it today. But I predict some helpful soul will post it here soon.

1) Mafia is a game where multiple 20 somethings get together and yell accusations at one another based on flimsy reasoning

2) The goal of the game is to get just enough lymches right to be competitive - but ultimately ride bad logic and tunneling into a desperate endgame.

3) Mafia is a game of deduction. You must determine who yells the loudest, who says the least, who rubs you the wrongest way possible and the proceed to have a dick measuring contest with this person.

4) if you are mafia your goal is to win by having enough teammates because the setup is broken and scumsided.

5) if youre town your goal is to have so many PR and clears that scum loses by day 2 and no reasoning is required

How does Maniac play Mafia?

Badly, but I get lucky. Being lucky is a very much underrated ability. So far my innate ability to be lucky has seen me (i) born in the UK; which is akin to winning at life's lottery (ii) born at a time where my generation could still expect to be better off than our parents (iii) having skills that society values by rewarding me with cash (iv) being handsome (v) living at a time when webdip is at its peak. Life is good when one is lucky.

A couple questions that I feel like I knew once but don't remember now...

1) What happens if the Thief steals from the Gunsmith (before they have given away all 4 guns)? I assume the Thief receives a gun and that the Gunsmith is notified they lost a gun. Does the player the Gunsmith targeted still receive the gun?

2) I'm a little confused about the wording of the Nurse.

"You will also prevent that target from performing ANY actions that occur after your visit that night."

Can someone explain this? I assume it's not talking about "after" as in when the GMs receive the PM. But rather there is some priority for role actions
