I would far rather start of the 3rd or 4th. A weekend start is preferable to me... But if 6th is what works for most, so be it. I have a big exam on the 15th so I'm not sure if I should even play.

All jokes aside, yes I can say in my opinion that USA is better than Canada. But that doesn't mean Canada doesn't beat us on some stuff.

You have us on healthcare for most individuals, don't get me wrong, but to get that advantage takes higher taxes which I am able to offset due to my health insurance through my employer (which lowers an individual payers cost because the company usually pays more due to group plans making insurance cheaper) and on an overall impact the fact my $ can do so much more world wide versus the Canadian currency.

In terms of 'hot mess' via political stuff - the USA's overall political system is screwed because being a politician is a career. Put term limits on Congressional representatives and our system would improve immensely.

Just my personal perspectives - I wouldn't leave the USA for any advantage Canada offers over me.

Just a minor point - it doesn't matter if it comes out of your left hand (taxes) or your right hand (personal or employer contributions). If you do a like for like comparison of costs (taxes + health care) countries like Australia or Canada both have lower overall costs.
