I'll admit that my inclusion of jamie in my initial posts, probably considered buddying, was more a error of posting/game judgment. It had no meaning as far as I was concerned.

Uhhhh, I only say that because he's acting like it was his grand idea that you're town. That's just my guess as to why you would feel like that.

I don't know what to do about Jamie. When people play in character they're incredibly hard to read as town or scum. I feel like in character play tends to benefit scum and gives them a mask to hide under. But it is Jamie...

You do not see any possible scum motivation for HB to say he and Jamie could not be scum again if HB is scum with someone else this time? In the canceled game, HB voted for me soon after Jamie did when he Jamie was his scum partner. In this game, HB again voted for me soon after Jamie did. That is an odd coincidence, it seems like a continuation of his attempt to tie his alignment to Jamie's alignment.

So far I find HB the most suspicious for the following:

1. the thing about him and Jamie not being scum again, obviously it is incorrect, and it could be an attempt to pocket Jamie

2. his reaction to summit's vote for him, vaguely implying summit's vote was scum motivated

3. his joining my wagon while hedging on his reason

@Bozo, I want to come back to this. I'm still trying to figure out what "pocket" means. Anyway, you'll notice that I pulled my vote off of you. I need to retract from my impression that infrequent/low posters are necessarily suspicious.

What specifically of my reaction to Summit's vote would cast me as not aligned with the town?

"Pocketing refers to when a mafia-aligned player buddies up to a town-aligned player in the hopes that this will make said player view the mafia-aligned player favorably. Usually the mafia-aligned player will defend the town player in order to "pocket" them."

I don't think I've tried to convince anybody that you're scum. Vecna and Rdrivera seem much more convinced that reading you as scum is wrong. Bozo put together a little case against you.

I can see scum motivations, I don't give him a free pass, but it looks more a townie mindset. But I don't see a reason to cast a vote on him for this post.

He was posting about probabilities when he was scum as well.

I've just iso'd Brian and he's putting in effort to try to get reads now. He wasn't doing that when he was scum. I find this more persuasive than trying to read a gambler's fallacy post as townie.

So flash and Durga have complained about the rate of posting without doing much of their own. For example, Rdrivera has fewer posts than Durga but they are of high quality (imo).

It seemed likely to me it would take a while to get the wind in the sails again. These complaints seem like an easy way to appear townie with a desire to solve without having to do much.

Vecna also expressed concern about rate of play but went about it in a different way and he has produced some interesting posts.
