The Bot records how much everyone has posted, if that is what you're interested in, but it also records a vote count, and a vote count history, which is very useful.

Youre doing alright, although im a true sucker for these cutesy "im new and thus I inform thee all of my struggles" approaches.Minister of Silly Walks wrote: ↑Thu Jun 18, 2020 7:00 pmQuestion to the audience: my play isn't really convincing, is it? I can imagine I would do even worse if I was mafia.

"Thee" is, by definition, always singular.

Early sure, but not first post off something in the joke phase.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Thu Jun 18, 2020 6:14 amI do not think this is accurate, I voted early D1 in M55 also.summit_fever wrote: ↑Thu Jun 18, 2020 12:41 amI wouldn't go that far. You very well may have not liked what you've seen, but it's the first I've seen you exit the gate with a vote.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Thu Jun 18, 2020 12:36 am
That seems to imply you do not think my reason for voting for you was real, is that the case?

VOTE COUNT 1.1
"Do come in," said the butler smoothly. "Our host has poured champagne in the Library while we wait for dinner."
summit_fever (2) — e.m.c^42, bozotheclown
Jamiet99uk (2) — Vecna, Minister of Silly Walks
Durga (1) — Jamiet99uk
Hamilton Brian (1) — flash2015
No one is set to be eliminated. Durga, Hamilton Brian, and summit_fever must cast valid votes. Day 1 ends in less than 24 hours!
The Library's shelves are lined with antique books. One shelf holds several volumes devoted to poisons. "A little hobby of our host's," the butler explains with a grin.

To lynch someone, do we need the majority of votes (i.e. 5) for someone or just more votes than for anyone else?

What a resource! Thanks! And here's the rub. As playfully acerbic as Jamie and Flash have been, I think I would have a difficult time coming up with a reason to vote them out. They're resourceful.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Thu Jun 18, 2020 7:59 pmThe Bot records how much everyone has posted, if that is what you're interested in, but it also records a vote count, and a vote count history, which is very useful.

Re: Mini-Mafia M1012
Preliminary reads:
Vecna/Flash/Bozo look towny. Minister is probably in this camp too.
Nullish on Jamie and Brian.
Durga seemed excited to play, and hasn't contributed much.
EMC is quiet

I don't think I will be touching that champagne.
So there's three of us that haven't cast a vote. I'm interested in what informs this first vote. Just seems so random.

Re: Mini-Mafia M1012
That is because it is. Sometimes though we get lucky and catch scum the first day. Sometimes we get unlucky and we lynch a PR because they weren't online near EOD to claim their role (if you are a PR and it looks like you are going to get mislynched, you should claim)Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Fri Jun 19, 2020 12:05 amI don't think I will be touching that champagne.

Re: Mini-Mafia M1012
i didn't know making a vote meant you weren't lurking. what does me not making a vote yet tell you? is it telling you that i'm scummy? why would me not placing a vote make me scummy? is it more likely that scum will make a vote within a reasonable time frame to blend in properly? is me not voting yet necessarily something scum would do?
are you trying to force me to vote now? i'll vote when i feel like it

Re: Mini-Mafia M1012
It is possible that in a small game the mafia would not want to make any town suspicious of them early by voting for them, or risk building a wagon on their partner, and therefore wait to place a vote.Durga wrote: ↑Fri Jun 19, 2020 2:55 ami didn't know making a vote meant you weren't lurking. what does me not making a vote yet tell you? is it telling you that i'm scummy? why would me not placing a vote make me scummy? is it more likely that scum will make a vote within a reasonable time frame to blend in properly? is me not voting yet necessarily something scum would do?
