The levels of towny play and reasoning there displayed in the previous two games (more in the big one than the mini) are pretty much absent this game.

EMC has definately not showboated his usual towngame this game. The only little townpings I gotten off of him was when you outed the chat with him and he did the whole "woe is me, its a chaqa all over again".

In an effort to not break our standard rules, you will have to trust me when I say his lack of actual use of the buddy chat was startling - he went to town with Chaqa and talked a lot, but this time was meh on it. His posts were pretty much focused on going along with the claim.

I gave him two chances to question me when I posted that I thought my buddy was scum in the thread and he ignored it completely, unlike protesting in the last game at Chaqa for thinking the same.

It is plausible - it would lead to a scum team dynamic that has several inexperienced players with an obvious leader of some sort to guide strategy.

They shot the unclaimed guy because that confusion is much stronger than the information a PR can ever bring to the table.

plenty of other people have played dodgy games, but at least their play resembles a bit more of their towny playstyles

My scumread on EMC is nothing to do with meta or anything like that, and everything to do with how happy he would have been with a tie between Macca and Bozo at EoD1.

During night EMC said this regarding his vote:

Can you explain your vote for thereal? You expressed desire to vote for him during day 1 but you tried to start the wagon with 1 minute left while the two main wagons were tied.

I didn't really scumread bozo nor wanted to vote for him at the time, and Macca was pleasant enough in recall that I didn't have any particular urge to vote for him either but his death would've been more preferable to bozo's, but Vecna's insistence that bozo was scum made me waffle more so I just avoided having to break the tie and plopped somewhere off wagon for the sake of posterity. Lol

I took from it he was well aware that it was tied. Now it looks like he wants to back off from that.

summit was halfway into riveras butthole on D2 when talking to HR. he was acting like itd be utterly shocking anyone would ever vote rivera.

There was one hard and continuous read with Donny and was a scum chaqa/jamie. His other reads were either casual remarks not revisited or his waivering reads on bozo/damo.

I doubt Donny would have been bussing his PR claimant scummate so hard. It looked like he wanted to bus macca but couldn't quite pull the trigger on the vote.

Jamie looks town to me as well.

Like rivera! He's doing his coasty-gone pr/scum thing again, and usually Vecna's really sharp about rivera on the first day, but he got distracted with claims and you lmao

and speaking of coasting, Durga. I recall her on Jamie-levels of activity

I get why she and HR would see damo as scummy, but his play has been so drastically different this game from the past few games where he's been scum consecutively lmao

So although his stats preaching is sus the contrast makes him unlikely to be scum again imo

ergo, summit; He feels different this game for some reason, although it might be just a random gut feeling

Am I the only one with these thoughts?

1. Durga’s lack of interest seems forced.
2. Emc’s ‘quitting’ is not towny behavior.
3. Bozo’s playstyle is very adaptable to either town or scum, so his defense so far seems kinda meh.
4. HR’s performance is not meeting my expectations, though these are based on my own opinions and not precedent.
5. Rdr seems off, but it seems more NAI to me.
6. Jamie comes off as town, but it is hard to read the slot overall due to Chaqa’s intro

He is definitely putting in the effort if he is scum. Of the nine PR claimants, five have barely made an impression (emc, flash, TFB, Bismark, JF). It is quite possible that the scum is/are in there.

I thought emc was towny D1, he didn't do much D2, but I'm still holding to a townlean. JF probably town based on his first post. Bismark likely be town based on something Donny said. Flash seems confident that his claim will clear him, no other way to explain his play. That only leaves TFB, who has gotten some scumreads.

I'm pretty sure worcej is town by now. And I've been thinking you are town for some reason.

If all of that is correct, it has to be one or both of Jamie and TFB, and it does not look unlikely that it may be only one of them.
