Re: Mafia 56: Scout Camp
I shoulda gone off wagon like you, just to make the vote count a lil prettier
Re: Mafia 56: Scout Camp
I feel like donny was coached to do that. To kill discussion? Generate complacency? I feel like donny wouldnt do that without a discussion n1

Thank you for your answers.e.m.c^42 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 13, 2020 8:59 pmThis will be shorter than I like but hopefully info enoughJamiet99uk wrote: ↑Sat Jun 13, 2020 2:44 pm@Emc: Your D1 voting history looks very suspect and I would like you to explain some things, please:
1. On Page 4, you voted for Worcej, who we have since been told you are sharing a buddy chat with. You were the first vote onto Worcej. It is very unusual to see you cast a vote that early. Was that a joke vote or did you seriously scumread him that early in the game, and why?
2. The Worcej wagon gained a lot of momentum and it was the lead wagon for around 20 hours of D1. On page 23 just after a tie had developed between the previously leading Worcej wagon, and the Bozotheclown wagon, you commented that Worcej "seems more town". That strongly implies that your initial scumread on him was genuine, but you were now changing your mind. Changing your mind is fine, but can you explain what made Worcej seem "more town" to you?
3. Did any element of your Worcej read evolve due to things he said in your buddy chat rather than in public and, if so, what?
4. You decided that Worcej was "more town" on page 23, at a time when he was tied for the lead with Bozo. But you did not move your vote off him until page 36, at which point you moved to Rdrivera. Why did you leave your vote on your supposedly town buddy for so long?
5. At EoD, with just seconds to go, you moved your vote onto TheRealCottonMouth (from "unvote" where you had been for a little while after leaving the Rdrivera wagon for an unexplained reason). Nobody else was voting for TheRealCottonMouth. So you deliberately wasted your vote. The vote was Macca 6 vs Bozo 6 at that exact moment. There was zero chance whatsoever of TRC being lynched. Why did you cast this useless, futile, pointless vote?
6. When you cast your vote for TRC, did you realise that the vote was tied between Bozo and Macca?
7. Either side of your wasted vote on TRC, you accused Bozo of "setting up an elaborate fishing fest", whilst describing Macca as "soft and adorable". Thus it appears that you suspected Bozo more than you suspected Macca. That being the case, why didn't you vote for Bozo?
I look forward to EMC's responses to these questions.
1) The vote itself was a joke but the fleeting gut sensation was there, yes.
2) His continued insistence on anti-massclaim seemed towny at the time, as it was consistent with what he said early on in the shared chat, when it first came up.
3) No, he said the same things in and out of the chat.
4) I left the vote there because it changed to function as a placeholder and I was reading for other options.
5) Out of bozo and Macca, I thought they both seemed town enough to live, bozo out of a town read and Macca out of being a noob that I felt fond of. Macca was a much lesser loss should they be both town, however, I have absolutely no clue when bozo is scum (and other people must've had some reason) so I considered it mildly, then realised I needed to vote to not die once again and just washed my hands of it. Either lynch would be fine.
6) I think so? Or maybe not. I was just thinking it would be okay whoever died.
7) I townread him enough to not want to vote for him on D1
I have a couple of follow-up questions. Let's keep the same numbering.
Re: 4. Why were you happy to leave a placeholder on Worcej, but no on Rdrivera? That is, after Worcej you moved to Rdrivera, but then when you decided you weren't sure about Rdrivera, you moved your vote to an "Unvote". Why was Worcej an acceptable placeholder, but Rdrivera was not?
Re: 6. You think you probably knew it was a draw. There were only a few seconds left. You could have voted to break the tie. You chose not to. Why not? You were happy with a tie, it seems?
Re: Mafia 56: Scout Camp
Possible, it gives us relatively little wagon analysis for today. If he was the guilty scan, it was definitely worth the sacrifice for scum. If he wasn't, I'm not so sure.
Re: Mafia 56: Scout Camp
how would they know if he was the guilty tho?
Re: Mafia 56: Scout Camp
I think you're right about this. It was his first post and he was talking about actions. So probably town, or very sneaky, but I think if he was this sneaky he would not have quit.
Re: Mafia 56: Scout Camp
brand new scum. no wolf day chat. I dont think thats ever a thing
Re: Mafia 56: Scout Camp
just doesnt happen. its either him scumslipping or an innocent pr claim not realizing its not the norm to pr claimbrainbomb wrote: ↑Sat Jun 13, 2020 10:16 pmbrand new scum. no wolf day chat. I dont think thats ever a thing
Re: Mafia 56: Scout Camp
They wouldn't. And they could not have planned it at night not knowing that there would be a guilty scan. I'm just saying that if he was the guilty scan, it will not end up being as a bad a decision as it seems for them.brainbomb wrote: ↑Sat Jun 13, 2020 10:14 pmhow would they know if he was the guilty tho?

5) I think there was a good minute or two left. I highly doubt it would've been a tie.

So 20 minutes is hardly any time, but 1 minute is plenty of time?e.m.c^42 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 13, 2020 10:20 pm4) Timing in relation to the gamestate, obviously.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Sat Jun 13, 2020 10:13 pmThank you for your answers.

He was probably one of the switchers based on what he was thinking in his first posts.Donny Dude wrote: ↑Tue Jun 09, 2020 12:13 am
I think that D2 there should be coordination on A/B roles and who they affect since they can help to clear
We won't know until we can see whose roles worked so D2

I think this is more evidence for town!worcej,Donny Dude wrote: ↑Tue Jun 09, 2020 2:09 amThanks Worcej, I am trying my best and yes the emc thing was very dumb.worcej wrote: ↑Tue Jun 09, 2020 2:02 amDonny being touchy makes sense considering how he went out last game he played, he got 'caught' on a very dumb thing that led to him being lynched D1 almost unanimously.Hellenic Riot wrote: ↑Tue Jun 09, 2020 12:16 amThese certainly appear to move faster than they used to; or I'm just getting old.
Most notable thing thus far seems to be how rapidly Donny backed off his early read of emc being town for plus oneing a lot (I mean sure, I'd rapidly back off that read too, that reasoning is awful). The reaction to the slightest hint of pressure was pretty poor though methinks.
Bob was also a tad touchy when brainbomb made the mafia chat joke to macca; seemed very quick to slap it down which jars out a bit compared to the rest of the tone of the game.
NAI imo
His quote about the priests irks me still though.
