When town Brainbomb has a genuine scumread on me, he comes after me like a rabid dog chasing a mailman smeared from head to toe in bacon fat carrying a sack of dog treats.

Yet just here, he can see I'm around, I'm active in the thread, and yet despite the fact that I'm his second-top scumread or something, he doesn't ask me any questions, doesn't present some tinfoil case against me. No. He just casually flops my name into a "reads list" without saying anything about me or engaging me at all.

I think this is a good way to proceed. I've looked up posts with macca directly quoted and there are three from the players ignored by macca.

My guess is that he looks at it this way. If you assume the townfolk are truthful you'll have a lot of townspeople giving valuable information to the mafia which will pool it and a lot of unpooled misinformation going to individual townspeople which will prejudice their views and unlike a mass claim which is also stupid doesn't give the entire town a chance to "solve" the game. I tend to agree that it is scummy though if I had to guess one is scum and one is a useful idiot. Which is which I do not know.

Definitely panicked. As I've stated before, I get scared when people have more information than me. And all this massclaiming stuff is getting (read: is) very confusing.

I'm not following what you mean by information and knowledge. Are you worried about those that you believe have a lot of general knowledge about the game?

Hellenic is the only VT that seems to have avoided all contact with Macca. But Hellenic was involved in the Xorxes/Brain/Macca/Bob deal so it was mainly luck that contact was never established.
