Problem with D3 is if they die N2 there's another unknown role for scum to claim. I don't think it should go beyond EON2. That's not worth risking.

For sure. Rdrivera day 1 made zero sense.Hellenic Riot wrote: ↑Thu Jun 11, 2020 11:43 pmMy main issue with brain is the unexplained wagon that him and emc attempted to start on rdrivera D1; and I never got an answer from either of them about why they actually wanted it in the first place, so this seems like an excellent time to re-raise that point.
Re: Mafia 56: Scout Camp
I still don't see the benefit of giving up that chance, however small, for no gain.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Thu Jun 11, 2020 11:43 pmIt is not worth waiting to have another PR get killed without revealing their role. Also, the mafia should have a good guess who the Scoutmaster is, and a very good chance of narrowing him down to 2 for the NK and RB.

And I would do anything for wins
I'd massclaim and just ignore the facts
I would do anything for wins
I'd never lie to you or ad hominem attack
But I'll never forget the way you feel right now
Oh no, no way
And I would do anything for wins
Oh I would do anything for win
I would do anything for win, but I won't massclaim
No, I won't masslciam
Some days it don't come easy
Some days it don't come hard
Some days it don't come at all, and these are the days that never end
Some nights you're outting your role
Some nights you're calling for everyone to wait
Some nights you're like nothing I've ever seen but im not allowed to state
Maybe I'm crazy, but it's crazy and it's true
I know you can save me, if you are a medic
but no-one else can claim to save me now but you
As long as townies are turning
As long as the scummies are burning
Oh I would do anything for a win
I would massclaim on day 1 in fact
I would do anything for a win
but I wont actually claim
no.. I wont actually claim

Re: Mafia 56: Scout Camp
That assumes scum has the foresight to predict who is and is not going to be online before EoN, and is then willing to take the risk to look really bad by being the last to claim.
Im sure we can figure that out if there miraculously are only 2 A/B claims of both roles.
Those holes are not that scary

Re: Mafia 56: Scout Camp
I do agree with Xorxes. They already know who the PRs are and can make decent guesses. Losing TCR hurts if he was a PR and we don't know which for the massclaim. Pre-EON 2 makes sense to me to guarantee we know everyone else's power role and I if TCR was a VT we still have perfect information there. We know a PR will die unless saved during the next night And we can't afford to let anyone else die without knowing who they are in terms of power.
Re: Mafia 56: Scout Camp
Mr flying boat, if you could be sure to be online at the end of the following night and claim your role and results then, you'd make all of us mafia players very fond of you.
Ill charm EMC and flash to be there. Ill even throw a bucket of charm at our teacher-friend mr bismarck.
Then im sure the only other player is the guy that thinks mafia is boring. He might be a bit tricker

Re: Mafia 56: Scout Camp
An error in judgement it may have been, but that still isn't an answer for why you wanted rdrivera D1 (this NAI stuff seems like a very after-the-fact explanation given it all seemed to happen during the night, unless you can show me examples from D1?), or indeed why you were content to let Bozo get lynched despite your townread - you were at the EoD right up until about five minutes remaining, with your last post of the day (on P46) being:brainbomb wrote: ↑Thu Jun 11, 2020 11:47 pmCall it an error in judgement.Hellenic Riot wrote: ↑Thu Jun 11, 2020 11:47 pmI abandoned that wagon when it was clear it was going nowhere and my townread was about to get lynched. good timing, and at the time I said id lynch rivera or macca and emc went for rivera, and it was among my interests. so I went there.
upon seeing it gained no steam and zero discussion other than a few glances by xorxes, I moved to damo at EOD, and joined YOU in fact. a wagon you abandoned
Which can also certainly be read as a soft-defence of macca, as it reiterates the point many of us had made about him being a confused noob. I don't get why you of all people would disappear at an EoD when your townread was being lynched, leaving your vote on a dead wagon that was going nowhere instead of the only viable alternative option.
Re: Mafia 56: Scout Camp
JF is the only one on the verge, I think. And he did not post during the night, so probably not Scoutmaster.

I remember thinking many things about the way you played mafia; but 'quiet resignation' is not the words I'd ever have expected to describe your play...brainbomb wrote: ↑Fri Jun 12, 2020 12:02 amI didnt feel like ending a new players life. there were talking points which I couldve bought into either wayHellenic Riot wrote: ↑Fri Jun 12, 2020 12:01 amAn error in judgement it may have been, but that still isn't an answer for why you wanted rdrivera D1 (this NAI stuff seems like a very after-the-fact explanation given it all seemed to happen during the night, unless you can show me examples from D1?), or indeed why you were content to let Bozo get lynched despite your townread - you were at the EoD right up until about five minutes remaining, with your last post of the day (on P46) being:

Re: Mafia 56: Scout Camp
Rivera scum meta is to lay super low day one and make weirdo comments that hedge everything. Most of his day 1 was hedgy, abnormal, lurky and he kept blaming it on being too busy to be around. but hes proven repeatedly he is actually around and knows exaqctly what is happening, and knows the exact RIGHT side of the argument to be on in numerous instances.
Re: Mafia 56: Scout Camp
You are describing the old drunk ass brainbomb who had a huge ego. I dont really care a ton about always being right. The cfd on macca was happening, and I chose to not care about it at the time. My emotion was, meh, okay I guess were killin a new guy after all. weird.Hellenic Riot wrote: ↑Fri Jun 12, 2020 12:04 amI remember thinking many things about the way you played mafia; but 'quiet resignation' is not the words I'd ever have expected to describe your play...brainbomb wrote: ↑Fri Jun 12, 2020 12:02 amI didnt feel like ending a new players life. there were talking points which I couldve bought into either wayHellenic Riot wrote: ↑Fri Jun 12, 2020 12:01 am

Re: Mafia 56: Scout Camp
My point is that a lynch on macca was NOT happening until myself & damo flipped to him in the final minute. I can accept that you weren't enthralled on voting macca (not least because I was also not enthralled with it), but sitting idly by while someone you apparently townread so strongly was heading straight for the noose? That's a harder one for me to swallow.brainbomb wrote: ↑Fri Jun 12, 2020 12:06 amYou are describing the old drunk ass brainbomb who had a huge ego. I dont really care a ton about always being right.
