Damo's thinking:

I assume Xorxes, Bozo, worcej and HR are town.

The following sets are listed in order of scumminess

SET A VT claimants not on Macca [ Donny, Bob, brain]

SET B PR claimants [Chaqa, JF, EMC, TFB, Fla, Bis, Vec]

SET C VT claimants that could have been bussing [rdr, Durga, summit]

Now, there are three possibilities for TRC; Scum, town PR, VT

Scenario 1 TRC is scum

Possible teams

2A +B = 3*7 = 21
A +B+C = 3*7*3 = 63
B + 2C = 7*3 = 21
Total 105

Best guess: Bob Chaqa rdr

Scenario 2

TRC town PR

Possibles are

2A + 2B = 3*21 = 63
A + 2B + C = 3*21*3 = 189
2B + 2C = 3*21 = 63
Total 315

Best guess: Bob, Chaqa, JF, rdr

Scenario 3 TRC is VT (the most probable imo)

Possibles are

3A + B = 7
2A + B + C = 3*7*3 = 63
A + B + 2C = 3*7*3 = 63
B + 3C = 7

Best guess Bob, Donny, Chaqa, rdr

Grand total 560 but obviously some are more likely than others.

A lot less than 11628 anyway.
so.. mafia isnt a math problem. Its a deduction game based on behavior and decisions. I dont know what it is you are playing but this is not flight of the navigator
Yes, it is a deduction game. Deduction by reduction is a good strategy. The point I was making is that the massclaim has greatly helped.
Btw not being a 13yo I don't get the reference but I doubt it's important.

I don't really consider myself a wagon. I'm not going to be the one on the block today.
You did manage to make us waste a lot of time though.

##VOTE macca
first shift onto macca

This 1978 Disney adventure tells the story of 12-year-old David (Joey Cramer) who lives with his family in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. When he awakens from being accidentally knocked out in the forest near his home, he finds that eight years have passed. His family is overjoyed to have him back, but just as perplexed as he is by the fact that he hasn't aged. When a NASA scientist (Howard Hesseman) discovers a UFO nearby, David gets the chance to unravel the mystery and recover the life he lost.
Release date: July 30, 1986 (USA)

I'll bring this up again since it got lost:

I am pretty sure my buddy is scum.

Anyone else feel that way based on their convos, or was I the only one trying to engage with them enough?
I'm pretty sure my buddy was scum. Let's drop some quotes:

"Brainbomb is definitely mafia"

"I oppose [the massclaim]. But I don't want to be seen to oppose it, you guys are getting slammed."

"I'm trying to claim ignorance..."

"Idea.

I am VT, so if you are PR, we claim opposites and you can keep your role hidden from scum.

Is this a good plan? Or am I missing something?"

That makes bb look slightly better than he does otherwise, because why else would a scum noob say they though bb was scum in the buddy chat? Unless they were trying to signal me in case I was mafia? Not sure they would've had that idea though. The other quotes also give us a bit of insight (hopefully) into why he acted the way he did. He was overclaiming ignorance and lack of knowledge by the looks.
Hey Bob,
Who are you referring to here?
Is it Macca or yet unnamed and should remain unnamed person?
I was wondering when someone would pick up on that... I would've pointed it out later if nobody noticed, but yes, Macca was indeed my buddy. I think it may give us some decent insights into how his brain was functioning, so I dropped all the relevant quotes here.

Also worce, why lol

You had every chance throughout the entire day to ask me questions in the QT if you really were that suspicious and didn't take it. Bruh.
Bruh - I said in the thread I scum read my partner and you never once addressed it. You put a bunch of 'meh' reads in there and never engaged in my conversation about the claim, yet wanted me to do it.

So let's see if I am right. If we live tonight, then you're scum brosef!
This is interesting. I'm very curious to see how the NK(s) play out now that this has been revealed.

Is this because the discussion in the Dirty Scout tent is intense, with a lot of strategising, discussing the thread, ruminating their kill(s)? How many scum in this list?
i can guarantee you at least one of them was sleeping during the night because they don't want to stay awake 24/7 just to play mafia.

Bob, Chaqa and worcej, I would say at this point. But worcej may be town.
I don't think scum Macca would vote for scum Worcej that way.
Right, he also voted for worcej later. Yeah, I think we can consider worcej town.
It took you long enough. Should've been fairly obvious he was town because of his blatant stubbornness. Instead you focused on his "coaching" and things that really had no actual meaning.

##Vote bobmcbob
Ahh, so to vote you go:

##Vote bobmcbob

That's the syntax?
Macca later claimed his bob vote was a joke.

Hmm. If Macca did vote for a scummate it was Bob. Gets off xorxes when he sees it isn't going anywhere. Interesting he chose worcej's wagon rather than Bozo's wagon since macca didn't seem to like the thought of massclaiming.
Macca later confirmed to me that the vote was just a joke in poor taste. He was attempting to make a joke about the syntax being exactly "##vote bobmcbob" rather than the obvious general syntax. Apparently nobody got the joke, and nor did I.

Can't say I remember much about most of them. My focus has been primarily on bozo, damo, chaqa, worcej and anything else I found particularly interesting. That said, emc looks a fair bit worse from EoD. We'll probably learn something interesting tonight though because worcej buddy claim. I remember wanting to facepalm on a summit statement or two, but can't remember which ones off the top of my head. Flash and rivera I actually get confused because they both have the big gold stars and I often forget to stop and check which one it is, I'll comment more on them later. And yeah I'll try to do a VCA later, but still catching up...

Probably because bozo is scum and I was the only town option he had.
'Tis a good point, this is a distinct possibility.
