Chaqa, can you do me the personal favour of just claiming? I really do not want this to feed the masses into lynching you.

I know youre not going to let them intimidate you into it, but do it for me. I allowed you to torture and lead me in -that game- too, so just take my word for it this is the way to go okay?

I really wouldnt be too sure about that if I were you. Remember how you mislynched me three games ago because I got pissed I wasnt allowed to lurk for a bit?

Bob would be a good lynch among the VT claimants. Bob, like worcej, was arguing both sides of the anti mass claim argument, that it helps scum and that it takes away from the game.

His reluctance to claim is scum indicative, as well as giving conflicting reasons.

I have never seen you do anything to deliberately hurt town's chances of winning when you were town. Regardless of your opinion on mass claims in general, in this game, 7 players have claimed they are a town PR. If more than 1 of the 3 players who have not claimed are a town PR, keeping that information hidden is very detrimental to town. So, if you refuse to claim, I will assume you are scum or possibly a VT.

At least one of those assumptions is incorrect.

Chaqa is currently voting for a PR claimant. That means he is either a PR and believes one of worcej/TRC is also a PR, or he is VT and believes both worcej and TRC are PRs, or he is scum.

Most of day 1 has revolved around the massclaim.
Bozo was arguing strongly for it.

Damo started it by unilaterally claiming VT while expressing support for bozo's arguments.

Xorxes quickly claimed PR

Vecna had been arguing strongly against it. He threatened to take his role to the grave. After these two claims he reversed course and claimed PR.

rdr claimed VT. Flash claimed PR. Hellenic claimed VT. EMC claimed PR. Bozo claimed VT. Durga claimed VT. I claimed VT. Donny claimed VT. flyingboat claimed PR. Brain claimed VT.

macca claimed VT after seeming confused and responding to a damo math post.

bismark claimed PR after expressing philosophical disagreement with it.

bob had shitclaimed "gorilla town" earlier in the process but at this point claimed VT.

JF claimed PR

worcej has always been adamently against it but has said that he would be the last claim. This is complicated by the fact that thereal hasn't been around for over 40 hours.

This says who claimed when, but what's the reasoning behind a mass claim? Why is it useful here and not just benefiting scum?

Maybe if nothing else I should actually go read the setup besides my role. :p

I haven't actually read the pages from my EMC vote to my return to the game. I'm working so I'm trying to keep up with this as we go, but I can't go back and read until later tonight. It is what it is.
