Re: Mafia 56: Scout Camp
I've been pushing for that for months. I thought our setup approval process involved massclaim-prevention checks, but it might be more of a dream than anything.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 10, 2020 7:02 pmScrewing with your team to make a point is a shitty way to protest.Chaqa wrote: ↑Wed Jun 10, 2020 6:57 pmSometimes a protest doesn't have a clearly defined point.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 10, 2020 6:48 pm
True. This is exactly why all town players should claim at this point.
What advantage you see for town if you don't claim?
If you want to protest on the main Mafia post that we should have setups that can't have massclaims I will be the first to support you.
But in this game you are just hurting town.

Re: Mafia 56: Scout Camp
It seems like a scum perspective to only care about whether or not you get lynched. If you are town, claiming PR or VT will increase the chances of lynching scum today.Chaqa wrote: ↑Wed Jun 10, 2020 6:58 pmlol I'd never give you the satisfaction bozo.
Re: Mafia 56: Scout Camp
We should not be describing our chat buddies and give scum ways to figure out who is with who. Worcej seems to be fishing here. I don't see the town motivation for this discussion.
Re: Mafia 56: Scout Camp
exactly
its just a liability
mu ran a game called restless communication where every player had a 1 on 1 chat with 5 other people. the game thread itself had a 10 post max limit. it was a horrible game. town got swept entirely.
I was scum in it so it was a blast. you can really abuse setups like this as scum and cause problems
Re: Mafia 56: Scout Camp
Wouldn't it make much more sense to make a case against them without mentioning that they're your buddy? What use is it for us to know you suspect them since we don't know who they are?
Re: Mafia 56: Scout Camp
It seems to me that worcej is probably currently voting the person he finds scummiest.
is there some reason you assert he isnt already on his chat partners wagon xorx?

Re: Mafia 56: Scout Camp
We went through this debate a bit last game. Even though I was scum that game, I'm not one that lives in the "town should let themselves be lynched" camp.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Wed Jun 10, 2020 7:07 pmIt seems like a scum perspective to only care about whether or not you get lynched. I'd argue our best bet to find scum today is to look for people with low post counts, low vote movement, and general disengagement (yes, I'm aware this fits me somewhat, but I'm nothing if not hypocritical)
Re: Mafia 56: Scout Camp
This is a good point. While I feel worcej's overall attitude is townie, his actions are certainly contrary to it.xorxes wrote: ↑Wed Jun 10, 2020 7:09 pmWe should not be describing our chat buddies and give scum ways to figure out who is with who. Re: Mafia 56: Scout Camp
In no way am I fishing for content of the conversations, and regardless, how does that help scum? They know their buddies and can guess from the rest.xorxes wrote: ↑Wed Jun 10, 2020 7:09 pmWe should not be describing our chat buddies and give scum ways to figure out who is with who. I just said I believe my buddy is scum. Good luck figuring out who it is based off that alone.

Re: Mafia 56: Scout Camp
Because I think I caught a scum and it'll be good to use for later information?
You're so happy to get information from a mass claim, why not enjoy I think I caught a scum in my buddy chat?
Re: Mafia 56: Scout Camp
So did I. Screw the democratic party, seriously it's a dumpster fire and continues to rage by thinking the seriously old white dude showing signs of dementia was the best choice against the raging cheeto.

What am I supposed to do about that ?
Other than commentary on sociology and mafia.
