The End of the Flat Earth Society
If we needed more proof... HERE is the absolute proof beyond a doubt that our planet is NOT flat.
If the Earth were flat, cats would have pushed everything off the edge by now.

Re: The End of the Flat Earth Society
You are forgetting something crucial...gravity! Once the cats push something off the edge, it merely flips to stick on the bottom side.
That's how Australia exists, after all.

Re: The End of the Flat Earth Society
While your rapier wit is as sharp as usual, this does not deny my premise. Even if gravity DOES hold the items, such items would all be on the BOTTOM.

Their bottom is our up, innit? There must be cats in Australia too, so we maintain equilibrium.dargorygel wrote: ↑Thu May 28, 2020 9:50 pmWhile your rapier wit is as sharp as usual, this does not deny my premise. Even if gravity DOES hold the items, such items would all be on the BOTTOM.

Re: The End of the Flat Earth Society
People think earth is spinning, how ridiculous, it's just a bunch of cat who throw everything on the other side every 24 hours.
Do you know why 24 hours? Because it takes 24 hours to push everything off. If there were twice as more cats on the world, days would be 12 hours because the work would be finished earlier.
You can stop the global warming by helping cats to push things off the edge of the earth.

Or by allowing more cats to be born...yavuzovic wrote: ↑Thu May 28, 2020 10:29 pmPeople think earth is spinning, how ridiculous, it's just a bunch of cat who throw everything on the other side every 24 hours.

I like a good joke as much as the next man, but can we stop promoting this daft conspiracy theory that some crazed mythical place called Australia exists? It is well known that the entire country is a 19th century invention designed to scare children into doing their homework. If you don't tidy your room you'll be sent to Australia! That's why it is so ridiculously filled with creatures that serve no other purpose other than to make life a misery.
Come on, now. It's not even like they dedicated a lot of effort into making it feel genuine. The design of the country is a crude flat circle where the only nod to geographical diversity is someone drawing a nipple in the middle and calling it world heritage site. Desert desert desert beach is not how landscapes work in the real world. There's no way a country so obviously designed to discourage visitors could possibly exist. A country where the national dish is BBQ'd giant sea lice
? A country whose only famous building is an opera house
? A country that claims to have invented the worst mass produced lagers on the planet
? Not a chance.

And they talk funny.... like a caricatured version of Britain's English. As if anyone could really stand talking and HEARING that accent 24/7.Octavious wrote: ↑Fri May 29, 2020 8:46 amI like a good joke as much as the next man, but can we stop promoting this daft conspiracy theory that some crazed mythical place called Australia exists? MajorMitchell is playing an elaborate character role, much as Al Swearengen used to, and is really an accountancy student from Slough. The others are jmo's multis.

Re: The End of the Flat Earth Society
The most convincing argument to me is the fact there are no dragons.
All the old maps say "Here there be dragons" at the edges of the world, and you'd think we'd have found them by now.
I'm currently still leaning towards the spherical earth theory.
