If you think Nephthys is scum, what is your explanation for EOD1? Do you think:

• that damo and xorxes are both town, and scum!Neph didn't care who got lynched?
• that damo and xorxes are both scum, and Neph carefully counted, expected emc not to vote, and crossed his fingers for a tie? or
• that only one of them is scum - perhaps damo, as xorxes was the lead wagon when Neph last posted in the thread - and Neph saw a town wagon in the lead and decided to decline to change votes?

Any is possible but TvS seems by far the most likely. The trouble is that I'm suspicious of both of them for very different reasons, and I could see scum!Neph not voting for either of them no matter which one is his scum teammate. As you said, damo makes sense because Neph wouldn't want to draw attention to himself by making the xorxes lynch more likely and when he check xorxes was in the lead. Or maybe xorxes is his scum parter and Neph didn't want to be seen as trying to save him.

Either way, I think it makes sense for scum!Neph to basically abstain from the vote just because he could. And then his reaction to summit when being questioned made me very suspicious that he did indeed intentionally avoid committing to a vote.

Addendum: if you - kgray, summit, and bozo - are town, you should only be voting Nephthys if you believe both damo and xorxes are town.

I'm not following this logic. I think it makes sense for scum!Neph to hide no matter what alignments xorxes and damo are (although I agree that some situations are more likely than others). He'd been lurking and could easily have been intending to continue flying under the radar. I don't think that Neph being scum most likely means that damo and xorxes are both town.

-Tom coached summit when I was haranguing summit
-Tom's iso is 90% blendy comments, very few positions taken
-Fits the POE, Tom and summit saved xorx

Between xorxes and damo, I'm pretty conflicted. Damo is doing things that I find annoying and unhelpful and I frequently don't follow his logic. But, he does that as town, and worcej made a good point that I'm scumreading people for having different playstyles/logical processes than I do. Xorxes is quite active which reads as towny to me, especially for him, but usually I find myself agreeing with his pushes more. He's not really convincing me of his reads, and I'm not seeing as much frustration/passion as I'd expect from town!xorxes.

I'm going to keep rereading (still not caught up) but for now I'll go with my instincts and ##vote xorxes

I think it's very possible for you to up your activity as scum to imitate your town game. In fact, being a big wagon probably helps you do that as you're forced to defend yourself anyway. So even though it seems towny I'm not going to use it as a reason to clear you.

It's not really about you not actually convincing me, more that I don't feel like you're trying that hard. I think you get more emotional and invested in solving the puzzle and convincing people you're right when you're town.

The truth is I'm not terribly frustrated. If damo is scum, he will most likely be lynched next. If for some weird reason he is town, I don't want to spend D3 defending myself again against the likes of foodcoats and bozo, it's exhausting, so I'm at peace. I would like to be more confident about the third member of the scumteam, but damo-Chaqa seem like a good start.
