If this is the case, the role seems extremely underpowered. A Lawyer just to counteract Summit doesn't make much sense to me, and since it apparently doesn't also counteract xorxes' ability...

There's got to be more to it somehow, but I don't know yet.

Maybe Damo is a Godfather and they have a JOAT with a 1x Lawyer they used on Squigs last night?

I mean, the signs on the wall that scum appears very underpowered compared to town have been on the wall for quite some time now, no?

Yes I would. This huge ammount of secracy is probably the prime reason why so many people have come out looking ultra bad all throughout this game, and are prime mislynch candidates further down the line.

Decide when you wanna give full disclosure in a proper and smart manner, but it has to come out soon.

As in "modify X for the next daycycle so that they appear as town for all intents and purposes"

Maybe using the lie detector on an "i am town" statement would them count them as town and result in a truth return?

Would that classify as a cop-like power (as the way its referred to in the role pm?).

If the mafia had a jailer and a redirector, it would cause a significant conflict if they had the same target, like they would have N1, so I do not think there is much of a chance Nephthys is mafia.

That's a good point. Two roleblockers in the same faction cause problems.

Even though this is the most likely conclusion, remember that foodcoats is also claiming his role pm describes specifically how his role operates before other roleblocking actions of the same faction. its not impossible that this could be the case for scenario's where the priority is unclear otherwise

If foodcoats and Neph are both town, that would explain the special note in food's role. The specification would be totally unnecessary if he was the only town roleblocker role, because town roleblocker goes before anything else anyway.

I have explained before that this is not true. There is a way in which he could still be scum. Chaqa, foodcoats, and now Bunny if he is telling the truth, know how he could still be scum. It's unlikely, but not mechanically out of the question.

Regardless, in the small offchance that bunny is town here and he is not jailed tonight he can confirm whatever ability xorxes is claiming (just in case xorxes mysteriously does not die) and confirm both town!xorx and town!bozo

Bunny already knows my ability, or he has made a good guess, I'm convinced of that. The question is whether he knows it because he is telling the truth about his role, because there's a mole in the QT, because he guessed it, or whatever other reason.

Is your role considered investigative? If you visit someone who has used up their power, like Vecna or foodcoats, would you still be able to copy their power? Are you allowed to copy someone's power more than once? If you had visited the Third Party Lead Inquisitor, do you know if you would have been able to start your own 3P faction? If we had no-lynched D1, and you had visited emc N1, could you have copied his power and switch to town?

It actually changes. I am investigative on odd nights, and my other action on even.

I don’t steal alignment, and I don’t steal items, I learn skills. I’ll ask GM about what he intended for rdr, but I’m guessing it’d be kill/start a QT ability. But I dont know why you think it would start a new 3P. I could study with chaqa and start my own QT that way.

I assume that since EMC would not have done an action for me to study, I wouldn’t copy him. I’ll ask worcej, but I doubt he considered that interaction.

Imagine how crap this game would become if this claim is real and the jailkeeper was lynched D1 and we'd get back to back lightning rod nights.

My role is the only important secret we have I think. As I said in the QT, the other little secret I don't care if you want to reveal or not. I don't think we should reveal my role, there's already enough people that know what it is that you don't have to worry about dying without revealing it. And there's about a 0.0001% chance that you are NKd anyway.
