How can your role have no responses if nobody did anything to you, and at the same time your action fail because you couldn't find foodc?

What I mean is:

N1 there would be an expected response. It didn't come because foodc was not found. I had not been informed previously (despite asking with a ##CALL GM in forum) that such a fail message had been delivered.

My role would get no response N2 on its own.

If somebody targeted me N2 (like a doc save or who knows what's going on) then maybe I'd get a message for that (I didn't).

N3 I did get a message, it was not what I was expecting, but it was amusing and informative.

N5 I targeted Xorxes.
Because he had an interesting role to study. Now I can do it too.

Earlier D3 damo said he respected summit's scum scan on RHK and has no reason to doubt him, votes end etc., but he keeps coming back to brainbomb, 1) saying both brain and RHK are scum and this is a gambit to get clear and 2) saying brain is being inconsistent and so votes for him. Seems needless in the situation, but it's like damo wants to boost up a counterwagon that's not RHK.

Interesting. Are you rereading Brain? I'll have to add rereading damo to my backlog.

Hey Bunny, did you end up re-reading damo? What do you think of damo now, given we know there's a lawyer?

I read most of him. Have not reread him since he scanned clean. He's not top of my list though. Chaq is.

Also, can you guys confirm with us what that code was that squigs produced?

Could he have just reverse-engineered it somehow?

Maybe some weird scum role that gives them daychat and allows them to spy on chaqa's QT? (seems unlikely, but maybe?)

I have a theory the two deaths of N3 were both by Mafia and rivera was holstering his kill to keep scanning inno, and Stragulator might have been a Strongman. But I need to review everything. JOAT would concentrate a lot of killing abilities, which makes sense with start-of-game flavor and to compensate for all the protectives and investigatives town has that you've been complaining about.

Well, then this would also clear me of being JOAT because the strangle-kill was at the same time as my AK47 kill, N2

Also, why would me as a strongman kill with his fists if he had an AK47?

Why do you think mafia wanted to keep the scans away from you? Were they not afraid they would go to one of them?

I think they had a lawyer or something. I think they didn't appreciate your ability. I think they wanted to make sure squigs was scanned, and that I wasn't. It'd make me look scummy and buy him yet another day.

But why would they risk one of them being scanned. There were probably two more besides Squigs, why not protect one of them from the scan instead of you?

My current theory: Lawyer is a 1 shot JOAT. Since squigs and I were most likely to be scanned, by redirecting from me they:

a) Cast aspersions on me
b) "clear" squigs

A 1 shot lawyer is hard to use when it is exactly to counter summit. They probably used their other powers first. Lawyer is a lousy role this game when (assuming summit is town as is likely) only him (and sometimes me) get countered by it.

Hmm...scum!JOAT foodcoats? Especially if they used the redirect for a 1 shot lawyer skill. I was a very likely target for the scan, as was squigs. So you don't want to use a JOAT lawyer skill until needed.
