Why have you not answered yet which were the two posts that you got an answer for?

I understand there's a lot to read, but you have shown in previous games that, unlike Sarah, you do understand how the game works.

Checking for something that we're going to find out anyway at EOD does not seem like the best choice.

Get people to state their alignment, check it, boom. And thats the absolute worst possible use you could come up with.

It depends whether Tem gets an immediate, EOphase or EON response.

However the point is moot since he is lying through his teeth. His original claim quotes 'any in-game day' and later says he can use it at night. Unless of course game day refers to 72 hour day+night. But that is also moot.

If you are town, there would be no reason to suspect anything else you have said is false, so that just seems like just creating a lot of work (and tough decisions to make) for worcej. The fact that deciding between a lie and a simple misunderstanding by someone is sometimes hard is why I never understood how this role could even exist. It seems like it can put a huge burden on the GM if taken seriously.

Well now killing Tem seems like a bad idea except that I don't really believe his claim. Not sure if it is worth killing him though in case his claim is true and he can act as yet another town cop (this time immune to godfather/lawyer shenanigans it seems). Especially since we can just scan him tonight

How would town!Squigs shooting you give you a townclear that lasts for a day? Or are you saying that scum!Squigs saying he will shoot you clears you in any way whatsoever? I don't understand what you meant there.

my beer consumption has reduced by about 75%
my wine consumption has increased by about 50%
my overall alcohol intake has reduced by about 33%

Hmm. Mine has at least doubled beer, and maybe tripled liquor. Wine has gone to nearly 0. About doubles over all.

Maybe Squigs has a more valuable role for scum (Redirector?) and that's why Tem is sacrificing himself? I want to think a bit more about this, but I'm staying on Squigs for now. If Squigs is telling the truth, Tem dies anyway.

Think about it. He comes with this shitty claim because he's afraid of being blown up by squigs. No other reason to fakeclaim something that dodgy this early. Unless you know squigs be telling the truth and youre at risk of being blown up.

Or he thinks sacrificing himself for Squigs, and perhaps giving Squigs some towncred in the process, is a good idea.

But then, who gave Tem this idea? Was it already discussed earlier? Daychat still on the table?

I don't believe there's daychat, but so many people kept pushing that idea for some reason.

Lie Detector was first brought up by brainbomb (that's further proof he was Omniscient, no matter what worcej is trying to make us believe by flipping him as Doctor). But it's unlikely Tem read about it if as he says he has been struggling to read the thread.

I'm kinda with you there. Even if it turns up that Temasek says "squigs is lying"or "squigs is telling truth" and is correct, it's still more likely Temasek is scum.

Now that I stop and think...this is the PERFECT fake claim for scum. Of course someone like Xorxes will suggest using it as a cop scan, and scum can do that.

Does somebody other than Chaqa see how Squigs being a suicide bomber makes sense given their claim of being vengeful. Is town vengeful a common fakeclaim for a suicide bomber?

Suicide bomber seems like a terribly weak role for scum to have in this setup, so I don't think we should be even considering it. I don't think this tells us anything about Chaqa's alignment though.

In the midst of this confusion... I think keeping the Squigs wagon, and ensuring there is no secondary wagon, is actually probably still a good strategy.

Squiggs seemed really scummy before this wagon, and now there is some bananas stuff going on. Best to trust our "yesterday selves" I think.

The reason to not stay on Squigs is if we think Tem is scum and are unsure of squigs. Then at EOD Tem jumps off wagon and squigs shoots a town. Yes we now become sure of Tem, but we already are pretty sure and losing 2 Town hurts.
