Ok I agree with Vecna.

I already said, there's no way Lightning Bolt is a roleblock action because it quite literally doesn't block actions it just redirects them. The actions still occur.

So, as Vecna has said, there is no way Foodcoats is town.

He must surely be scum, though. Because Jailor is a roleblock action. So on N1 when Rdrivera was redirected onto Foodcoats, the Jailor prevented the kill. The Role PM says "If your kill action is prevented via a role-block type action, your target will not be recruited." Thus Rdrivera did not recruit Foodcoats N1.

Unless for some reason Rdrivera went back and tried again on Foodcoats on one of the other two nights, and failed to kill by some other means (docsave?), but that seems very unlikely?

Conclusion: Foodcoats or Bozo should be tomorrow's lynch.

it says if your kill ACTION is prevented. Ergo, if the inquisitor got roleblocked themselves.

if their KILL got prevented by a roleblock action is differnet.

As xorxes said, its a bit ambiguous, but if neph asks the right question to the GM, this is definitely one that he will have to answer

It is not completely clear, but what you are talking about is #4 on rdrivera's role description. The other case seems to be covered by #3.

Didn't brainbomb say he protected summit N2? It seems just as likely, perhaps more likely, that the mafia killed Marche and rdrivera's kill was blocked, maybe because he targeted you. rdrivera was the one looking to get his kill blocked.

Is your role distinct enough from Brain to not make us want to get into a CC thing here?

I do not have the same role that Brain is claiming, that's for sure. However, if his claim is true, then town does have two docsaves, since my protective ability is effectively a docsave. One detail is that, apparently, I do get told if my target is home, but I don't get told whether or not I saved them from a kill.

That is, on N1 I got told that Foodcoats was not at home. On N2 I was told that I *successfully* found Brainbomb - but I get no feedback on whether or not he required my save.

When I say I have "another ability", it is something with an effect that is not protective in nature.

Does everyone with access to Chaqa's QT agree that this still makes sense, and that Jamie didn't protect anyone likely to be recruited by rdrivera?

I thought brain had said that he had tried to save me one night, but I may be getting the details wrong.

It depends on how much we trust the flavor. If strangulation was rivera's method of killing, and exploding watches is Mafia, then rivera killed N2 and Mafia killed twice N2. If flavor is irrelevant, you may be right. But flavor was faithful for N1 and the other N2 kill, so we have to believe it means something.

It makes sense, yes.
