The order of procedure would still be relevant. I would've been tracked, watched, etc. if I hadn't been initially jailed.
Your "roleblock" (i.e. interference with everybody else's actions) occured before Nephs roleblock. Everything else (the protection from everyone else's actions) was Neph's action, which came after your roleblock.

If his roleblock had come first you would not have had any effect on anyone.
Sorry, I think you're confused.

Bunny pointed out that the fact I was jailed points to Neph being town, because town RBs process first.

I am saying yes, that's awesome, I think it clears Neph as town 100%. Otherwise flash at least would've had some kind of results. I'll have to go back and look but I don't recall him saying he say anything that night.

@Flash: Without cut and pasting the PM, can you tell us more or less exactly what result you got N2?
Essentially the same message as D1 for foodcoats. I attempt to watch xorxes but cannot because I cannot find him.
Confirmed. flash was pushed onto me by my ability. And it failed because the town RB came first.

Actually maybe someone can clarify for me, do ALL town actions process, then ALL scum, etc.? Or does the GM compare if there are conflicts in the processing of orders and then use the order of preference town->scum->3p?
The only information you have is the following:
There is one mafia faction, one town faction, and a 3P faction
There is at least one 3p (obviously)
Every role has an action. It may be triggered or player initiated and it may or may not target/visit players.
Role and alignment of the player will be revealed on flips, unless an ability prevents it
The Role PM will be added to the flip announcement due to the variety of interpretations of specific roles out on the interwebs. If an ability prevents the flip announcement, the role PM will not be added
For ability adjudication, the town teams ability will go first, then mafia, followed by 3P. AKA: If a town roleblock targets a mafia roleblock, the town roleblock will go off and the mafia one will not due to being roleblocked
Kills can be roleblocked, unless an ability prevents it

Night Ability adjudication is the following:
RB-type abilities
Protective-type abilities
Investigative-type abilities
Killing abilities

You just earned yourself a gold star, Bunny. I was worried with all your vapid commentary today that you were actually scum, even though I initially read darg as null and you seemed town earlier. :-D
VAPID!? There's content there! There's humor, but there's definitely content and opinion.

That said, a lot of my content was saying "oh, yes...nice thought", since so many of you were beating me to ideas. Nice to be the first to a good idea.

roleblocks always come before investigatives. The alignment precedence rules are for two roleblocks of different alignment.

Correct. But you didn't get alerted to mafia RB. So either there is no mafia RB, or Neph is town. I guess I was a little premature there. Take my star back. Options are:

1) Neph is town
2) Neph is scum AND town has no RB

Have we had 2 people RBd in a night? (including jailor). I was jailed last night, Xorxes night before. Anyone RBd?

Earlier D3 damo said he respected summit's scum scan on RHK and has no reason to doubt him, votes end etc., but he keeps coming back to brainbomb, 1) saying both brain and RHK are scum and this is a gambit to get clear and 2) saying brain is being inconsistent and so votes for him. Seems needless in the situation, but it's like damo wants to boost up a counterwagon that's not RHK.

Brain's changing story regarding whether he is a straight up doc or when with the ability to consecutively save the same person is still bugging me

Why wasn't I strictly saved by the roleblocking?

The PM I got N1 said, basically, "you active your ability... and then got thrown in jail!" Jail saved me from everything that would've hit me.
Very interesting. This strongly suggests that Neph is town. Since town actions activate first.
Oh shit that's a really good point.
I mean, Neph was pretty much guaranteed to be town anyway.

We know xorx was jailed N2. So, inferring from this:

If xorx were scum, scum!Neph wouldn't want to jail his teammate when they have a Doctor who can protect him
If xorx were town, scum!Neph wouldn't want to jail him when scum could have just killed him outright.

I wont say what my action was but I think its not lost given I went nowhere
Why did brainbomb say this D2 after my LR action? No one asks brain to claim, and brain says their action was "not lost?" That makes no sense as the doctor role brain later claimed. And brain made a big deal about crumbing doctor... so why crumb doctor but also suggest that you have a one-shot ability?
This isn't a bad catch.

You missed an option:

If xorx were scum, then scum!Neph would want to jail him if the scum team were being paranoid about NKs. If they didn't care about the RB feature but were worried about a NK.

Imagine being on the scum team and being given a jailor AND a scum!doctor. I'd be shitting myself as scum if that was my team. I'd have them all self save as much as possible.

Interesting. Are you rereading Brain? I'll have to add rereading damo to my backlog.

I’m feeling a lynch in the group of Neph, Bozo, flash, Vecna, or Sarah today

Vigilante should pop a lurker if there is one
Join me on Vecna. If that doesn't fly then switch to Bozo. How's that?
This post makes me so uncomfortable.

I think you set up the Donny thing
To follow it up, this was his reasoning

This looks especially bad when you look at his reaction to the slip

He agrees its a slip then later uses it as his prime reasoning to scumread vecna.

My next point
damo666 wrote:

LR could be scum

If LR was town N1 use only there could easily be another town RB with restricted use.
Here damo considers roles are not alignment indicative.

@Vecna am I right in saying your ability is spent and you are now effectively VT. I think you implied this but cannot find it.
Here he just accepts vecna is town.

At no point does he provide any reasoning for the switch other than vecna's claim.
