… as in... I am specifically paying attention to Vecna now because of the Xorxian Cipher, which drew me to noticing the flavour more, which locked into a certain vision of the game, which makes sense for certain roles/abilities existing... etc. And so Vecna's ideas no longer seem batshit insane.

I use terms pretty loosely, let's just say no one is ever clear.

Pretty disappointing that rdr came in just to hammer himself. It does indeed seem like a guilty "let's get it over with" play.

Unfortunately I kinda agree with food on this, though I still think Vecna is misguided.

A self-hammer (or a self-vote) is the last gasp of a guilty man.

And if xorxes is lying to us, we know our next lynch, so... yeah.

What do you want to me say? Xorxes have an "evidence" against me that he didn't even disclose and everybody pilled on me. He is scum, and after I flip you will lynch him if you want to win the game.
This is la team game after all and I am not usefull at this point.

After the last game's debacle with hammering, I'm cautious, and I don't see the point in hammering. I did appreciate Fluminator's point that making the possible EOD anytime causes people to be on edge and spill more, but that's not what I'm seeing here. I'm seeing people just wanting to move on. That's not a great reason to hammer.

I also want more time for things to come out. Time for foodcoats to keep doing awesome stuff. Time for me to reread and research old flavor and keywords. This game is insane, and hammering is wrong. And I'm busy. I'm at work, and with kids, and won't have real research time until tonight. So why rush?

Yeah I see no reason to hammer.

I find it interesting that damo, of all people, wants to hammer. damo, you've barely been engaged this game at all. Why are you suddenly so onboard to hammer rdr?

Is *that* how hammering works? I honestly don't know. And based on Chaq's post right before mine, it's not clear he thinks that either.

It also doesn't change the fact that:

1) Hammering to increase tension of EOD

is verrrrrrry different from

2) Hammering to just end the fu*#ing day because we're borrrrrred....soooo borrrrrred

One has merit. The other means you should go read a book or online story.
