I believe you're overthinking it. I'm genuinely surprised about the lengths people will go to avoid a lynching, IE: experienced players breaking rules. Stay focused on me though *shrug*.

I am beyond frustrated with this game. If nothing else, I know I never want to play a closed setup ever again.

Yeah...this and life is why I originally withdrew. Swordsman has convinced me that true vanilla (all VTs and VS) would be interesting. This is such a convoluted game that it almost forces me to pay attention to only tone and intention.

I believed it was either legitimate or a GM prepared fakeclaim. Upon review I believe the note is doctored as the line "You scan as guilty if scanned by a cop-like ability until your victory condition is fulfilled" doesn't make sense given part of his victory condition was to be alive at the end of the game.

I didn't believe Demon would survive. If I had started to believe that I would have changed my vote back to Demon.
