Where is this driver PM from?Chaqa wrote: ↑Tue May 05, 2020 1:34 amThis might depend on GM. When I've used a bus driver, anyone targeting is explicitly NOT told they were swapped.
The role PM is not clear. You are the Town Bus Driver! You love taking people to and from for whatever reason you want! Each night, you can ##swap two players by PMing the GM. When you do, those players swap places and any action targeting one will target the other. Your ability is considered a Protective-type ability.
You win when the Town faction is the last faction left standing.

Is this your first time claiming? Did you scan Demon? Did anyone else claim a scanning role yet?summit_fever wrote: ↑Tue May 05, 2020 6:53 amSince I'm still iffy on whether Donny was scum.
Town needs a scum lynch.
I'm the cop, and demon is scum.

Where are town JOATs abilities listed?bozotheclown wrote: ↑Tue May 05, 2020 1:48 amOne of the Town JOAT's abilities was "1x Flare Gun (a roleblock action)", so the rule you are referring to about the roleblock resolution may just contain an oversight with regard to 2 roleblocks from the same alignment.

What does a Flare Gun do? What would happen if the Flare Gun was used against the Jailor while the Jailor tried to jail the JOAT?
That gives more support to the idea that Jailor is scum, but takes support from the idea that LR is town.

##CallGM: what would happen if two simultaneous roleblocks (both town) were attempted on each other through a Flare Gun and some other power?

Still catching up on the requested summit ISO. I find his breadbaking a curious mislead. Baguettes? What sort of preferment? Hydration level? Do you care how many slices? How many stretches during bulk rise until desired tension was reached?

Marvellous. You townread, nullread and scumread Bozo.
Very helpful.
Thanks for your efforts.
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
You're new, right? I like your thought process, but the lesson town should be learning from all our recent failures: we need to just play straight and simple and coalesce. Trying to be tricky hides our motivations and makes it hard to trust each other. Allows scum to just coast.summit_fever wrote: ↑Tue May 05, 2020 8:52 amworks on contingency? no, money down!Squigs44 wrote: ↑Tue May 05, 2020 8:37 amOkay so Summit fever comes in with a cop claim with a guilty scan on RHK. That makes things easy for me, as long as summit is telling the truth.
##vote DemonRHK
Looking back through summits posts, the one thing that bothers me is that you started day 3 voting brain. Why vote brain if you had a guilty on RHK? You also recently made a post saying to lynch brain, vote RHK. That doesn't make sense, can you explain that post?
was asking brain to get back to lynching scum in that recent post. Ambiguous formatting.
My early vote on brain was due to not liking the names of those nightkilled. Brain had written an essay on why marche was scum, and had started to find kgray scummy. I had the verdict on RHK so I voted brain quickly to see what would happen. Brain and demon then both claimed doctor and demon declared brain confirmed town. At that point I figured getting demon lynched would be fairly easy.
Ok, back to ##VOTE Demon (I forgot I'd moved off and on to EMC...still angry at EMC for doing that shit again. I would *totally* be scanning for that and lynching unless there's a mechanical reason EMC is cleared. Even then...it feels wrong to let him live.) The one time someone pushed the rules with me (sent a nearly meaningless message on discord), immediately apologized, and wasn't mod killed they were scum and lived to end.
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
I have been town reading summit and have no reason to suspect a fabrication so
##vote demon
##vote demon
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
I think brain and demon are both scum and invented the double doc claim such that the survivor becomes an apparent townclear.
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
Like what does this mean?
I just finished your ISO (I forget who asked me to).
You read like a new but usually clever player. Asking questions, probing, etc. This is not indicative of alignment. New Town use it to learn and understand. New Scum use it as an easy way to hide.
That said, the timing of your reads, details in them. It's not hard to fake, but your progression seems to fit the "new towny" mold.
Some interesting/worrying posts: "Stop it Stop it he's already dead"
I find the use of emotion there strange. You're largely disconnected in your posts; it's a game. But here you really *seem* to care. Why? It reads (both in and out of context) as forced (especially as Neph seemed to be saying something mean about himself).
Then later you decry the "woe is me" brainbomb stuff.
Otherwise, you mostly read as new. Those are the only posts that set my instincts on edge.
Oh, and the bread...if you want a baguette recipe I have a nice one. I used my extended unemployment to bake lots and lots.

Is it possible to know who +1'ed a post?
Yes, look in your own profile at the "list of +1 actions".
You can also mouseover the votecount. What will happen if you find these volunteers.
1) see what happens with NO votes including GM posts
2) see what happens with all odd votes
3) see what happens with all even votes
4) see what happens with one odd vote and all even votes
All it takes is people to agree to not upvote anything; even GM. In the firefly game, it would have triggered a GM announcement of whom the 3P was. I dunno what'll happen here. But it doesn't take too much to execute and check.
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
Are you suggesting there is NO doc who joins the 3rd claim? Or that Jamie's (is it Jamie?) claim to Chaq in code (are we really trusting this?) that he's a protector is the 3rd claim?
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
Yes...but costs nothing (unlike the reaver hunting I wanted to do). The volunteers just have to upvote, and confirm nobody else upvotes.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Tue May 05, 2020 10:53 amSurely that will take at least four phases?BunnyGo wrote: ↑Tue May 05, 2020 10:10 amI want to conduct experiments.
