M55: The Last Party - Game Thread

So a quick analysis of something.

These are the 5 (Yes, I'm in that bunch too) That 'changed their minds' between D1 and D2 on the Donny/emc slot

Bozo was pressuring emc up until he dropped off in the middle part of D2, then when he came back a few hours later he dropped all pressure off of him (saying he can't see emc fabricating that story (interesting choice of words, but I digress) , listed some townreads, and ducked back out until a few hours before EoD, when he finally switched of Sarah to dargo hoping to form a wagon with Vecna, then later jumping to Bismarck asking for a claim, and then remaining on wagon afterward.

Vecna shows up drunkposting still shading emc, then back a while later with a bunch of commentary/catchup posts. Most notably, he's shades and half-hearted wants to wagon brain, citing as part of that his switch on Bismarck. Then he proceeds to vote along side of him and call JOAT one of the most used scum roles.

I had a change of heart on the slot due to emc seeming genuine, the backup on the claim from Chaqa (and later food), and Bismarck was on my radar for a bit, his posts seemed very unhelpful and he never addressed D2, focusing on D1/N1 and not addressing the evolution of the gamestate through D2.

Summit continues to shade/scumread emc when they first jump in, then immediately votes Bismarck, then really doesn't address either for the remainder of the day, last coming in at close to 2 hours to EoD trying realllly hard to get Vecna to commit.

Food is an outlier here, as he had extra info from direct access to the convos from the neighbor stuff once he joined in. On top of that, being a conf Lightning Rod makes foods pretty close to conf town in my eyes to the point I wouldn't even look at the slot for a while (short of an exposure of a recruiting mech).

TL;DR - bozo and Vecna don't look good, and if one is scum I believe the other might be. In addition, a scum Vecna should set of warning bells on Summit.

Neph Brain Bozo have all been in some way or form subdued, in order of most of least. I want to townread Vecna which is a small concern since usually I just auto town him, but I don't really care - if he's a concern he's a mid/late game one so it doesn't matter now.

I don't even know if flash or Sarah are alive lol. I can only hope one of them is who is supposed to NK and miss it due to being gone.

foodcoats - semi-confirmed town (even though I don't think he's acted that towny)
emc - I don't claim to know why emc thinks or acts the way he does, but I don't see any reason for him to make this up as scum.
summit - Is paying attention, and bringing up unique points that show he's trying to solve.
TheMarche - His careful analysis reminds me a lot of my first game, feeling the pressure to get things right and figure out what's going on. And, I don't buy that his D1 misunderstanding about the scumteam knowing each other could be faked.
xorxes - stubborn and tunneling, but pushing things, getting frustrated, making noise. Definitely town.
brain - I agree with xorxes' point about brain's reaction to N2 actions being towny, and nothing he's done has stood out to me as scummy.

Townlean
rivera - I feel like we're coming from the same place on a lot of things. The only thing preventing me from giving rdr a townread is the suspicion he could be buddying me, and also his response to my foodcoats vote D1 sketched me out a bit. Like he was encouraging my suspicions but waiting to see if anyone else would jump in before committing himself.
Jamie - Nothing strikes me as scummy, and he seems to be questioning. Although, this is also how he played last game where he was scum.
Vecna - makes some good points and appears to be putting in effort to hunting.

damo - I expect town!damo to have a lot more random reads (with no explanation, of course) and to jump around a lot more. He seems like he's hiding here.
bozo - It still bothers me that he's not actually pushing any scumreads. Giving lists of people he'd be okay with lynching doesn't count, especially when that list is almost exclusively lurkers or people making very little impressions.
Neph - I just don't understand where he's coming from. Sometimes he'll make some great points, and sometimes he totally misses things that appear obvious.
DemonRHK - His response to the emc/xorxes debate seemed like it could be scum trying to encourage the fighting without understanding what it was about, but he could also have just misunderstood what was going on.... I thought his recent post was decent, though, to be fair.

Sarah - no idea about her alignment because I don't trust that she'd care enough to improve as town.
Flash - again, I have no opinion of flash. That in itself seems very scummy to me but apparently he does this as town too.
Darg - sometimes darg says things that I don't understand at all, and it seems like he's not reading the thread. Not sure if that's alignment-indicative from him.
Fox - I had stronger read on fox in both the previous games (although I was right once and wrong once) so it's strange to me that he's not leaving much of an impression here. I think he's somewhat contributing in "easy" places.

Alright, guess this is explanation time

By now many of you have seen my softs. Many didnt realize what they were. Some did. Some mustve seen them and pretended they did not. Some just went the extra mile to explain them what they were.

At this point im not sure how obvious it was they were softing a role im obviously not. I mightve gone about playing this game wrongly. The N1 lightning rod sure fucked up my plan bigtime, thats for sure.

So I softed it twice. The first post that added the three p's to draw a little attention with alliteration. As bozo pointed out, that part was not the interesting part. I also softed it in a dialogue with brainbomb. He instantly knew that terminator's company was called cyberdyne, not ceradyne. Both Ceradyne and Safariland are global producers of bodyarmour and ceramic weapons. I threw in some more posts about me being generous. All tried to get scum to target me with roleblocks, nightkills, redirectors and all that good shit.

See, the GMs gave me a role that I initially really loved. I can activate it to kill everyone that visits me at night. It kills them even before their action goes off, so im guaranteed to remain unharmed. Never have I been more excited to see my role PM. Then when Donny did his slip (whether it was scum? who knows) - and I was on cloud 9 for catching it and lynching him. In my mind, this was guaranteed to get scum to try and NK me. Softs for a strong role in combination with owning one of their members, I was so ready for a bloodbath. Then that fucking flavour about the lightning rod came. BOOOO. That was charge one wasted of my ability.

As Xorxes already pointed out, I was softing a visiting ability, but still made the mistake of telling people my charges were actually getting expired. oops. I also asked too many questions about people visiting. I probably played that part not so great. Regardless, ive tried to salvage it. But im not so certain if I did a good enough job to get scum to target me tonight.

If EMC is actually scum, they likely wouldnt want to interfere with me giving him armor. If xorxes is scum (dont think thats the case, but it could be) he probably noticed the inconsistencies and wouldve adviced people that I actually wanted to attract attention.

Anyways.....

Im hoping for a bloodbath. And im hoping you other town PRs actually listened to me and did not interfere by visiting me....because I pulled the trigger again. Charge two of my ability.

If I die, my top scumreads are Bozo and Neph. I think that Chaqa is town and I was never actually planning to visit him. If I'm right that Chaqa is town, then EMC is probably town too.

Mister Chaqa's Neighborhood EoN2 reads/info:

I'll go through most everyone and give a brief rundown on what I think of them:

Bozo - Scum. Spent Day 2 trying to lynch Sarah, but then moved to Dargo, then Bismarck. My theory is he is scum teammates with either Sarah or Dargo, maybe both, but likely Dargo.

Brain - I think if there is a 3P, it is brain or xorxes. If I'm wrong on the Bozo/Flash/Dargo trio, then Brain/xorxes would be my other scum guess. Regardless, I think he's town only if Bozo/Flash/Dargo is a more-or-less accurate scumteam (say 2/3) and xorxes is town or 3P.

Damo - Really quiet and lurkerish. I wouldn't town read him yet but I'm not good at reading Damo. Could be a 3P candidate.

Dargo - I think Dargo is scum, for a similar reason to Flash (below).

DemonRHK - Trending more lurking town than scum right this moment, but not clear by any means.

EMC - I'm 99% convinced EMC is town tracker as he has claimed. All of my reads are based around this, basically.

Flash - I think Flash is almost certainly scum. He was a pile-on voter to Donny, and then voted EMC and promptly disappeared for most of Day 2. He wasn't even on for the EMC-Bismarck stuff. This points to someone completely disinterested in the outcome of that lynch.

Foodcoats - Lightning Rod. Town. Not much else to say.

Fox - Null. Possible scum/3P

Jamiet - Pretty solid town for me. Feeling shy, might send him a watch later.

Kgray - Town, I think. Unless she's a prodigy, she's just too similar to her town games.

Neph - I don't know what is up with Neph, but it's something. I tend to think he's a tanner/jester type role, but could just be scum. Maybe Vengeful.

Rivera - Leaning town. No real reason, but my gut is usually on point with rivera. He is known to bus as scum, so if he is scum, Sarah probably also is.

Sarah - Scum in some worlds, newbie town in others. I think the vig should shoot her at some point.

Summit/Marche - pairing them up because I get good town vibes off them. Analytical, relatively engaged. Would like them to post more, but I feel good about them atm. If they flip scum, likely there is a very experienced (xorxes/Vecna/brain) scum player coaching them.

Vecna - Town, most likely. If items start showing up, he's even more likely town. But I kinda think he's actually baiting RB and NK, as a pro-town move.

Xorxes - 3P if there is one, town if not. Maybe scum with brain. Wild-ass theory there, but if there is a 3P, it could be xorxes. Otherwise in most worlds he seems town.

I have instructed EMC to track Flash tonight. This is because, taking the 3-5 people I most suspected to be scum, Flash seemed like the most likely of them to perform the night-kill.

If Sarah isn't shot tonight, I think the best lynches tomorrow are Flash, Dargo, Bozo, and Sarah. If she is, re-evaluate with that information. If she flips scum, look at rivera.

I think, if I die, mafia will have to had use their Strongman ability. The case where I live likely means they do not have one.

If we live in a world where EMC and/or Food is scum, we probably already lost lol. Just trust them, guys. Please don't waste Day 3-4 debating EMC and food.
