Bozo did at least list Bismarck as a scumread several times during D2. That's a point in his favour, I suppose.

But then there was this, 12 minutes before the deadline:

Bismarck, do you want to tell us you[sic] role?

Moments after this, Bismarck did claim his role.

There was no reaction from Bozo, who kept his vote right there on Bismarck.

Bismarck and emc were the only options at that point, and even though I think emc is likely town, I would have switched my vote to emc if I was sure Bismarck was the town JOAT. However, there were reasons to doubt Bismarck's claim. One, as Nephthys and Vecna pointed out, he could have been a mafia JOAT (you were the mafia JOAT in M1010). Also, earlier D2 Bismarck said this: "And I can confirm that I have a Town role on this island. Sure, a minor role, but a Town role nonetheless." It is now obvious he was downplaying his role to avoid being a NK target, but that was not as obvious when he claimed, it looked like he could have been claiming a strong role to avoid the lynch.

Do you think emc is likely town based on his play or based on his role?

I would be impressed if xorxes and emc are scum teammates, or Chaqa, emc, and foodcoats.

For brain to be scum, I think foodcoats needs to be scum. I can't make sense of his start of day otherwise.

I explained in a subsequent post. I was hoping to get some feedback from you on that as you caught up but you commented on other more trivial stuff and you said nothing on this topic.

You seem to have a faulty memory. If you want to see what I have said about a potential Jailor you can search the bot with the o spelling, I don't think I have used "jailer". And I was not crumbing or anything like that in all my speculations about it, just to be clear.

Why do you think scum would have daychat if emc was scum? It is way more likely in that case that they would have a secretary.

I think it is plain ridiculous to claim that worcej just rolled the dice. Does anyone seriously think that worcej would make no effort whatsoever to provide an interesting, balanced, fair game? This doesn't even brook discussion in my opinion and I think it's very reasonable to assume that roles fit their preferred alignment for power-balance reasons.

This is why "mafia tracker" is also a silly claim, in my opinion. I choose to believe that worcej gave the teams roles that would be useful to their team, and mafia need more power than a tracker in a game where the entire town team has abilities.

Why would the balance have to be achieved via powerful roles rather than via numbers? Since we don't know the number of scum there are, and we don't know what roles town has for the most part, there's no way you can infer that a mafia tracker would make the game unbalanced.

Having said that, this comment makes it less likely that you would be scum with emc, so I'm happy to keep you on my town list for now.

If food is scum, Mafia more or less already knew what would happen and so his reaction could have been planned. Still a strange thing to do, but let's say possible.

If food is town, however, there's no way scum!brain could have predicted the outcome, so the reaction was spontaneous. I don't see why he would blurt out that he knew food's role (thinking it was Commuter). It is possible he did some quick thinking, realized it was Lightning Rod + Jailor, and came up with the Commuter story as a towntell, but I don't really see that happening.

Brain caught and quoted one of my crumbs. And the flavor was pretty obvious. And brain is very experienced. So I assume that's how he linked everything up. Though i was annoyed he called it out immediately.

Your crumbs were undecipherable. I still don't understand how they point to Lightning Rod. I think you confused Lightning Rod with Lighning Bolt, crumbed for Lighning Bolt, claimed Bolt Thrower, and then went back and checked that it was actually in fact Lighning Rod. So I don't think anyone could have figured out your role from your crumbs.

No, I'm saying that I do believe his claim, of course he is the real Lightning Rod, anyone with a visiting role knows that. Read again what I wrote please. He misread/misunderstood the name of his role, he crumbed thinking it was Lightning Bolt, and after people asked him if he meant Lightning Rod he went back and checked and corrected himself.

The fact that Vecna shaded him a lot, plus he tried to ignite the Jamie-brain bomb, and I'm increasingly suspecting Vecna contributes to my feeiling better about him as well.

I agree he has been a bit absent, but that proved not to be a scumtell last game.

One thing I noticed too is that Vecna softed a visiting role while at the same time seemed unaware of the details of the message for failed action.

I was reading for like 4-5 hours straight, and trying to hurry to be done before EoD.

You'll have to excuse me if I glossed over some of your posts, because after a while this 1v1 between you and EMC became very tiresome (and I think youre wrong).

More details place. Blaming me for your read and just saying "nothign made me suspicious" is not a reason to have him in your top townreads.

To an extent it was me trying to get as much out there and interact with as many people that I could so that if I did get lynched people would be able to maximize the info.

That's such a scummy perspective, and not the first time you do this. Interactions with town give so little information compared to interactions with scum.

What do you mean? I poked at people I scumread and either moved on by townreading then or not townreading them. You, bozo, came out townier. RHK and Vecna appeared enough to stay nullish-lean-town. Neph came out more scummy. Fox came out more null-leaning-scum.

I had a post written summarising this to post in case of lynch but ended up not needing it.
