As for emc, the way he argued with me I found way more scummy than towny. He was apparently trying to personify teacon so as to make our "debate" look TvT. I also didn't like how he tried to throw rivera's "motivation" schtick at me. All in all, he did not convince me.

Mind you, I said those words long before he did. You just didn't pay attention until it was from him.

No, I mean that he says those words every game. I didn't notice him doing it this game, at least not with the same intensity.

Vecna, as for brain: it's like with a puppy you want to encourage good behavior. You don't make the argument that "brain is too calm to be town" because then when he is calm as town it turns out poorly lol

I dont care about the calmness EMC, thats not my core of argument (part of it sure).

When brainbomb is town I can follow his rationale quite well usually. I can even predict when its been too long, the gamestate gets stuck, and he gets suspicious of me.

That wasnt the case here. He did a completely unfair switch on me. He did a completely convenient switch on Bismarck in his reads, and he refuses to respond to that.

Im not certain. But he is one of my scumreads.

I think you are reading too simplified.

Like, it never was really about mechs, but more about plausible motivations as scum or town or other? And how much that factors in to things. Mechs would be like sussing NK or block and stuff.

I guess we just disagree on what counts as "mechanics." Obviously motivations and other play are part of that. But it's overwhelmingly been about "if claim X is true, in light of power Y, and assumption Z... etc etc". But that's not why I'm voting for you, I'm voting for you because it looks to me like you are dancing around trying to mislead us all.
