Night Ability adjudication is the following:

1. RB-type abilities
2. Protective-type abilities
3. Investigative-type abilities
4. Killing abilities

What kind of ability would lighning rod be? Presumably it would be adjudicated before any roleblocks, right?

I think the Lighting Rod (or Magnet) is usually a town role, so if Food is the Rod he is likely town.

I don't get the emc and Chaqa thing but I don't want to push them to claim if they don't want.

Something usually being a town role really doesnt mean its the same thing this time around. It could be a nice scumrole in plenty of setups as well. Many inventors? Gimme them items. Many limited townshots on abilities? Waste em all. Sowing confusion, not giving town new information, yada yada.

Foodcoats gave the impression that he was in on the Chaqa-emc debacle and we should just take his word that all was well. But then he backtracked and said that was only 66%. So basically no help at all.

That's possible. Kind of pointless if everyone who joins announces that they've joined, and apparently it tells us nothing about any alignments, unless there's a secret catch that they're not sharing.
