Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
And based on what I've seen emc is town two thirds of the time or better.
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
Or he ran it through http://www.zantherus.com/fun/drunkpost.php, which seems to produce similar patterns...
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
Jamie this is what you misunderstood. Xorxes was absolute certain that I'd flip scum. From his perspective that information about Donny would only be true if I flipped town, and he had claimed that he wanted to lynch me to find out Donny's alignment and not necessarily out of scumreading me, do you understand? I didn't know how lined up together.
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
Bismarck returned I see and focused on counting bad guys rather than making reads...
Still seems like a good vote.

What is the relevance of this appeal to the gambler's fallacy?
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
Is there anything in this QT that would make sharing it contrary to your win condition?e.m.c^42 wrote: ↑Sat May 02, 2020 2:16 amChaqa wrote:Can you describe what your role was?
As far as tracking - I think most likely NK if Donny was town are probably xorxes, Vecna, and the like.
I think rivera is fine.e.m.c wrote:Mhh, I can't quote my PM at all (unfortunately)
but it was basically a third party that would gain the role of whatever role died first.e.m.c wrote:I had thought a bit about diverting the lynch but it seemed like it would put too much attention on me lol, and gaining either scum or tracker would've been great for meChaqa wrote:Why can't you quote it?e.m.c wrote: Closed setup, can't quote GM communicationse.m.c wrote:For telling you my results, I might just end up writing something lol, it's easiest to find and read.
Taunt me into something involving chipotle or whatever, and based on who it includes it'll be whoever rivera visited? And if he did not visit anyone, it'll be solo
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
Also worth noting that if you just take the odds, Donny was town.

Donny could be scum tracker, you could be telling the truth about the role (especially as the role is potentially verifiable to some degree) but lying about the alignment.e.m.c^42 wrote: ↑Sat May 02, 2020 2:00 pmJamie this is what you misunderstood. Lol it's not a gamblers fallacyJamiet99uk wrote: ↑Sat May 02, 2020 2:04 pmWhat is the relevance of this appeal to the gambler's fallacy?
That would be like if I assumed since I've been scum a lot I should always roll town for a while
Assigning odds helps decision making

Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
The point is if EMC's story was straight, he would not ask how flipping him would reveal Donny's alignment.
He got so absorbed in his battle with Xorxes that he let this slip out.

Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
Ok Foodcoats I read your big "secret information" post.
Very nice. But since you demand not to be asked any further questions, I can only regard that post as meaningless for now, until further information is available, because right now your big post boils down to this:
"I know a secret that makes me think EMC is town, please believe me".
Which, really, isn't good enough.

Emc's arg to xor was "if i absorbed scum why do u believe my 3p story"Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Sat May 02, 2020 2:07 pmThe point is if EMC's story was straight, he would not ask how flipping him would reveal Donny's alignment.
