Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
Now that you ask it I can't actually articulate anything
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
So in what world would Chaqa die last night. Surely he must be aware that if you were scum then you just don't kill last night and them you're cleared.
Seems like a weird oversight from Chaqa
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
I like this. But still, my vote is because of Donny. I could say emc is town for what he says and how he expresses/justifies himself, but I am uncapable of convincing myself Donny was town.e.m.c^42 wrote: ↑Fri May 01, 2020 11:14 pmI obviously wanted to stay hidden as tracker. When you are a decently significant town PR in a role madness game you generally don't want to claim.e.m.c^42 wrote: ↑Fri May 01, 2020 11:09 pmAre you serious? Are you actually serious, you are not this inane lmaoNephthys wrote: ↑Fri May 01, 2020 10:56 pmOne thing that just occured to me, and so I'm gonna address it now.
If donny was town, wouldnt we expect something from EMC that indicates it. Some post, some crumb.
It seems weird that he had the ability to effectively de-janitor the kill and yet held on to it for so long...
See, from the scum point of view, they know that Donny was town and that he was likely telling the truth - which means they can safely assume that tracker (and watcher with it, as typically there's only one out of the two roles present) is out of the equation when considering night actions.
I'm an unlikely target for roleblock or NK typically, which meant that I had a pretty good chance of tracking a handful of people and succeeding.

On a side note I started trying heineken 0% alcohol bottles. pretty good actually. tastes like beer and you dont realize it isnt beer.
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
Lol I think he believed me by then, but wanted something out in case he got NK'd at any point before a chance at saying more about Donny in-thread.

To be honest it was a double bluff. By informing him, I guaranteed I wouldn’t die, but the message meant if I did, he would get caught.
EMC didn’t know exactly what I was going to post anyway.

You don't think it's possible that I'm a more difficult person to be rough at? :vbrainbomb wrote: ↑Sat May 02, 2020 6:50 amkgray seems to be alot less punchy this game tookgray wrote: ↑Sat May 02, 2020 5:23 amHmm. I thought you seemed honestly confused/frustrated when you thought he was making logical fallacies, and townread you for it... Maybe I'll have to reevaluate that.e.m.c^42 wrote: ↑Sat May 02, 2020 5:17 am
A bit of both. It started out as genuine confusion, and as he explained more (from my perspective) it read as if he kept on retconning his reasons or grasping for something without care for what it was. In hindsight it was probably a mixture of that and refinement. At some point I decided to take advantage of the situation and poke a bit more.

Hmm, so basically you are extremely arrogant in your ability to read Donny. Lmao.TheMarche wrote: ↑Sat May 02, 2020 6:54 amI like this. But still, my vote is because of Donny. I feel like most of my other votes are because of this as well.
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
I have to go. I stopped myself at page 132, and i'll finish reading later.
##Unvote. I'd still vote emc. But his posts are too town. I'll probably go on voting himself again later, because I'm looking only at the game's mechanics and not at the way someone expresses himself (Everybody can lie, and build townish posts). But i see the possibility for someone to see emc during the night and actually making all this clear.

It's my only clue. Donny shouldn't have known about the secretary if he was a new player. And, on the top of all, he never explained how he found that role.e.m.c^42 wrote: ↑Sat May 02, 2020 7:05 amHmm, so basically you are extremely arrogant in your ability to read Donny. In regards to brain's reads, I'd be lenient and give the fox/vec benefit of null until closer to EoD. Not really sure about kgray, would need rereading.
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
Hah, tbh I don't really know either. The only thing I can think of is that he skimmed a previous worcej game and it left an impression but not exactly what it was. He's been seen on-off reading the mafia thread before iirc.
