So you don't believe Donny's "secretary" was a scumslip?

As bad as it looked, I do not know why a scum Donny would bring up a real mafia role. If emc was the Third Party Universal Backup that took Donny's scum role, it should become apparent, unless he really was a mafia tracker, which I think is very unlikely.

Maybe he just didn't realize that it was an unusual role. People have brought up "normal" scum roles like roleblocker and ninja and that's not as suspicious because there are good reasons for people to know about them.

I think more suspicious than the "slip" is that he couldn't show where he'd heard about the secretary role when Vecna was grilling him.

To be clear, my vote is on emc not simply because he might be scummy (although he might) but because it seems very information-rich. Connections to Chaqa and donny, clarifying THOSE roles, too. However tracker is very useful. His answer about tracking rdr is reasonable, and he answered it quickly.

We could also mine a lot of data from emc's conversations, even though most of them have been chaqa and him.

I found foodcoats absent and unfocused, but I am convinced he is a Bolt, and that is likely a town role. I could vote for neph, Bismarck, or someone else (tin foil hat theory) that I will probably post when i return tomorrow.

Donny bringing up a real mafia role could just be a way of saying something. He needed to talk, and he decided to speculate about a role, why not? As scum, I have no problem mixing things that I know are correct and things that I know are incorrect. The issue here is how he came across that role. If he had speculated about a roleblocker, and it turns out mafia has a roleblocker, nobody would have raised an eyebrow. Picking that specific role was really strange, and if it was a coincidence it was really unlucky.

I was generally townleaning emc D1. I am not impressed by his D2. I can't be certain that he is scum based only on that, so I am willing to vote for someone else and wait on emc if I can find something better, but he is still my top choice for now. I'm doing some other isos.

I think worcej was a bit misleading in saying that there is a 3rd party faction but then having a 3rd party that is not a member of that faction if that is the case also. I don't know how much weight I can put on that, but that bothers me as well.
