So why would food trigger this action on N1 when no one is sussing him, and were already low on info.

im ok given any night with no town deaths is a good night. but still.

Typically a Jailer chooses their target during the previous day, and the target is whisked away at EoD/pre-night actions.

This would roleblock the Lightning Rod, though, so I'm not sure how the interaction would work. Therefore, it seems most likely that:
1. Foodcoats is a lightning rod
2a. Foodcoats was commuted OR
2b. There is a non-roleblocking Jailor in effect

This seems an odd comment for the lightning rod to make, if he activited a lightning rod power himself.

The way I see it, the Lightning Rod draws the Jailor onto it. The Jailor then Jails the Lightning Rod, and then all the other actions arrive at the Jail, where they fail.

Why?

The Lightning Rod also draws all the protective actions onto themselves.

Yes, absolutely.

GMs are therefore advised not to include a Watcher in a setup that also contains a Lightning Rod.

i would think he would also assume to expect any saving powers... so not really. It sounds like he didn't know what was going on/happened.

if scum has a ninja and an sk isnt seen carrying out kills i guess it wouldnt be very powerful. but ya a watcher seems unlikely. a tracker is a bit more understandable tho.

So Chaqa started the game wishywashy but actually when Donny claimed tracker, the harebrained scheme to subject the tracking to a test seems townie. There's an outside chance Chaqa would be scum trying to get mileage out of Donny's lynch (as scum)... in which case, knowing Chaqa's propensity to bus, the team is darg Chaq Sarah Donny, because scum!Chaqa WOULD bus that hard. Except, Chaqa went off Donny to Sarah towards end of phase... with that movement they can't all 3 be scum...
