Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
We're assuming a lightning rod. I suppose it's possible that something else happened?

What's the role called when you commute someone else?Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Thu Apr 30, 2020 10:48 pmIf he commuted, and there was a normal Lightning Rod, then your action would have been redirected onto the Lightning Rod, not onto the Commuter.

I cannot answer this question.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Thu Apr 30, 2020 10:39 pm##CALL GM
If there was a Lightning Rod, at what point would its activation occur, in your order of night actions?

I am not aware of such a role.
There's Bus Driver, but that's not the same as it swaps two people.

For the sake of saying this, I had the same experience as Brainbomb.
I'm assuming that what happened is that Foodcoats is the Lightning Rod, and we have a Jailor in play.
Nothing else really makes sense.

I was thinking someone else can be chosen as the target of a lightning rod

anyways, there was some role where you send a dog off into outerspace for a phase and it got used on vecna one time. otherwise I suppose we be glad nobody died and we play on
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
Jailor is a roleblocker type. Since the Lightning Rod attracted it, this should answer your question about adjudication order.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Thu Apr 30, 2020 10:55 pmFor the sake of saying this, I had the same experience as Brainbomb.

So, it would appear no one's actions got through during the night?

That's why I suggested a version of the Nexus might be in play, but I think it's the standard Lightning Rod, and there's a Jailor.

They all got through to Foodcoats (whether originally targeted at Foodcoats or not), and then they all failed, presumably since he was in jail.
